For all the talk about the offense and rightfully so, Derek Stingley returning punts was a breath of fresh air.

So you’re telling me that O made a lot of stupid decisions last year and someone came in and fixed all of them for him? Let’s go through the list, based on your list:
- O put shitty Giles at punt returner when he wasn’t ready, and gave him number 7 when he definitely wasn’t ready for the pressure. That worked out great
- O fired a good OC in Canada for a career TE coach and a retired old man, both who have no concept of how to spread the ball out
- O’s best choice OC running O’s offense misused talent across the board
- O still hasn’t scored on Bama without Canada (edit: I threw in this one just for fun)

Dude shut up

Coaches make decisions. Sometimes they fail. You don’t change shite every game. You let your assessments and decisions run their course

O recognized room to improve and addressed it. Just like Saban is all RPO now and wasn’t the first to go to it. Coaches evolve.

Aren't you a wealth of knowledge and a ray of sunshine? Coach O also made the decision to correct these things although they are usually a collective staff collaboration. If you are happy or excited about this team you should climb back under your rock. You suck at analysis. THe 'Bama statement may correct itself as well.

Time to start looking forward, my man. Last year is over with and doesn't really pertain to what's gonna happen this year. That's the way I see it at least.

Lunatic my point is O has a history of taking a good situation and fricking it up. He better let his coaches coach. If he had, we would have had a better offense last season, and Giles might have not had his career ruined for him by being put in the spotlight too soon. And the only OC to score on Bama under O so far got sent packing bc he got mad when O broke his promise of not meddling

How long until he meddles again? The issue is the meddling. I can directly point to that for almost everything that’s gone wrong with this team since O took over. Will O force Brady to slow down the offense like he did with Canada? Will he force Brady into sets to protect the QB when pressure comes, instead of getting the ball out quicker? Will he disagree on which RB to start?
