Former LSU fullback will be fighting as a headliner for UFC 149 against Cheick Kongo. Shawn is 13-3. He is a complete stud.

He is training with the Jackson group. That is as stout as you get. I hope he does not try to stand up with Kongo. If he takes him down, Kongo is notoriously a turtle on his back.

True story I saw Shawn Jordan break a dude's jaw in Tiger Bar for talking shite to his brother's girlfriend......Shawn crow hoped the punch and old boy never saw it coming. That might be the most blood flowing I've ever seen in my life.

super tough for a heavyweight to find training partners... smart of him to commit to it full time, and move to training in New Mexico with Greg Jackson...

Gladiators Academy has produced some fine talent, but he's better suited getting chances to mix it up with guys like Shane Carwin and Jon Jones....

Congo will be on his back soon into the first. I think this may actually be a mismatch.

good for him. I know him personally. He's a great guy. FYI, he was an all american wrestler in high school. Shawn has a good ground game. Best of luck to him

I watched his first ever fight-at the Texas Club believe it or not.

Dude was not polished-at all-back then. Just waded in and took the abuse. The guy took punches and they never even phased him. Just kept coming at the guy and taking the blows until he got his mits on him.

Lights out afterwards. Very dangerous dude.

Very.

We watched a fight here in Monroe two or more years ago. He took a giant to the ground early and made him quit.

This guy is friends with some friends of mine. Saw him fight and train in B.R. hes an absolute monster. Good for him to train away from here not good enough sparring partners around here.
