Whomever gets arrested for a felony in this case will not play a down of LSU football.

If anyone actually gets charged with a second degree battery, the player will immediately plead down to a simply battery (misdemeanor) and get probation.

Guaranteed.

This is for a real lawyer.

If two people hit each other under what circumstances are battery charges filed against one party only?
If you and I hit each other aren't the both of us committing battery against each other?

Not being an arse here, but where are you getting this from?

All I've seen was that there were a shite-ton of people who saw everything.

Your #'s certainly make it look a little better for the players.

I think most of that was exaggerated by message boards, the media, and the media getting info from message boards.

I also think its foolish for us to think there aren't friends of the program who would testify to their recollection of the the events.

Also, how credible are drunk frat stars at 1:30 AM outside the bar.

There is no evidence of aggravated battery.

Fractured vertebrae clearly is evidence, and we have Stone directly stating today that there are 2 potential charges of 2nd degree battery and 2 of 1st degree battery, so unless he's openly lying, your info is wrong.

Also a comment about JJ that I can not relay at this time.

I absolutely hate when people say shite like this, ALL you are doing is trying to drum up attention for yourself.

which is just plain stupid, this isn't the radio, you don't get rating for people sticking around for commercials.

It would be hilarious if not for the typo.

Technically, you both committed a simple assault and battery (assuming you don't knock the guy out.)

Aggravated battery =/= second degree battery, Johnny Cochran.

Self defense could render one person without charges

People need to understand that right now the only account of the brawl has come from the people filing the charges.

which is not enough

It may be enough to put players on the sidelines if charges are pending. It's in the best interest of the players to clear this up ASAP IMO.
