Most other stadium expansions look great. Ours are terrible.

I still can't understand how they fricked up this bad.

The inside looks bad-A, but the outside leaves me scratching my head. Funny how they haven't posted any pictures of that wall in the weekly updates posted on lsusports.net.

I still freaking hate the slats over the glass on the last west side upper deck.

Here's my photoshop of what I would like if it's just going to be a mural. Original photo by Angelo the Tiger (he's the best IMO).

A mural would look dumb too. That space is just too big.

I'm not for a mural, in needs a nice facade much like ones posted on page 1 or 2. The Tiger Eye would be awful and repetitious IMO. But if they're going to do mural I like the one of Mike VI prowling.

Witness, it seems like most LSU construction projects turn into disasters. Not just sports but academics too.

I do like the look from inside but man did they completely botch the outside facade. They had good intentions with the arches. But simply putting the same color as NEZ and enclosing the TAF offices in glass would have made a tremendous difference.

It is going to be ridiculously hot up there until the Bama game.

Are they supposed to air condition the sky ?

it honestly looks like 5 different building ideas on top of each other. there's no fluid consistency with it.

don't get me wrong, it's massive. but it looks ridiculous.

this feels like the emperor's new clothes

It's all about the north, west and south west... east and south east are just functional.

Built in 1924 and expanded 7 times to 102,321. Tiger Stadium is not ridiculous and it is one of the largest stadiums in the world. I would think LSU Fans would be proud to have such a large stadium and play in the SEC!!

I hate to say it, but you're right. Ours looks like garbage compared to some of the other stadium expansion projects I've seen.

I love the big aTm etched into the window on the Aggie expansion. Too bad we couldn't do something like that.

you guys are 100% correct, A&M blew us out of the water, but you have to remember A&M is spending $450 million dollars on their expansion project!!

And essentially rebuilding an entire stadium. We are only doing a south endzone upper. Yet, we can't find any architects to do it to give it some symmetry. How the hell can A&M do an entire stadium and have nice symmetry/facades, yet we can't seem to do one endzone right over a two year period? I'm sure there are much better ways to put TAF offices and stairwells/elevators into the endzone upperdeck without that atrocity built in the southeast corner.

If it was all glass it wouldn't be so bad, but LSU does what LSU does with all projects.
