The bricked in windows are still a concern

Not to me, it would shock me if they weren't left bricked in at this point. I really like the finish on the NEZ too I don't know why that color wasn't used.

I hope so. But I've been monitoring it daily and it's been that way for a while now. It also appears they have removed all the equipment for applying stucco. Having the arches area stucco and the cross beams for the window area stucco but that's it. It looks awful next to the bare concrete.

the bare concrete, might be painted the same color as the NEZ..
Not sure how that would look: Gray w/ sand colored Stucco

Maybe someone can photoshop it..

Doesn't matter how bad it looks. The general population thinks the whole stadium and the new addition looks badass. Several of the players posted this exact picture talking about how excited they were to play in/return to Tiger Stadium.

If you look through facebook posts that LSU Football makes, yeah. No one complained about a thing when they posted this picture. All likes and shares.

Well what you expect when your trying to do damage control. You get your cronies to help out.

I know the vast majority I speak with feel like the stadium has got newer, But certainly Not better. The first think I hear is "there's no flow to the design, looks like 3 stadiums in one. and the color doesn't match and on and on ...

Excuse my ignorance, but what is inside of this facade? what is it's main purpose?

IDK if anyone has mentioned it but they definitely need to carve the faces of LSU greats into it. Our very own Death Valley verson of mount rushmore.

Its not bare concrete. It is actually like Light Grey and appears to be Ceramic Tile.

TAF offices and SEZ elevator lobbies.

Thanks Sev09, my guess would have been elevators. I didn't realize they had TAF offices as part of Tiger Stadium.

It looks terrible.

I've kept my mouth shut for the entire offseason, waiting to see a finished product.

It'll make LSU more money, yay I guess. Have y'all seen the aggie expansion? Theirs blew this out of the water and it's not even close.

This Mickey Mouse shite looks like the drunken love child of magic kingdom and a movie theater.

I hate to say it, but you're right. Ours looks like garbage compared to some of the other stadium expansion projects I've seen.

I love the big aTm etched into the window on the Aggie expansion. Too bad we couldn't do something like that.

I just dont understand. I am pumped and excited about the extra fans and money this will bring in, but how in the holy hell can they make something so awful and ugly? Could you imagine if LSU/these architects were in charge of home building? They would be out of business in a month
