Just watched the abbreviated version on SEC Network leading up to the game. Not gonna lie, brought a little tear. Now I'm ready!

Watched it with my son who was born in same time frame. He didn't realize how big LSU was at that time. Oh young grasshopper.

I have it saved on my Tivo and I watched it last night. Only problem is that somebody starts slicing up onions every time I watch it.

I like it, but damn they play it too much.

Still probably the greatest story in college baseball, in my lifetime at least.

It was meh to me. They greatly exaggerated /flat out lied about some things. I recorded that game and must have watched it 10 times at least when I was younger, so some of the stuff they claim I know was flat out lies.

Main one being how they make it seem Morris had only bunted before that HR. He had 2 flare singles earlier THAT GAME.

I didn't interpret it that way. In fact, Morris said that he told Skipper that he felt 100% for the first time that day.

I swear seeing that is the cure for depression (unless you're Joey Cora).

Get chills every time. Smiling for hours afterwards.

Nothing like the first time though. Smiled for a month after that.

Yes, one of the guys they were interviewing for the story, Ryan McGee (author of "The Road To Omaha"), said that. But after Lanier struck out he also said "The air went out of the stadium, because guess what... Warren Morris is on deck. And bless his heart, he's hurt... and we don't remember the last time he got a hit that wasn't, you know, a bunt."

Yes I just went back to watch that part to get the quote correct.

I watched it for the first time last week during the rain delay, so not sure if it was the full version or if it was abbreviated. I was surprised they didn't talk about Cora more. After all, he was voted the MOP.

I was like 3 at the time so I don't really remember the game. I remember knowing we won, but I was just a kid. Need to rewatch the game that's for sure.

I will always remember Lanier getting punched out on one of the nastiest pitches all game. Also LSU's left fielder I forgot who it was having the ball snow cone out after a diving play.

I worked Skips camp with a lot of the coaches and they all said the same thing. The wind blowing in hard all day and then suddenly died when Warren came up.

Huge fan of Warren, the Tigers, and Keith David. "Friends on the other side" has to be one of the best villain songs in Disney history.
