If LSU runs the table it will mean that....

they beat NC (good chance to make ACC CG)
they beat WVU (Lock to be 10-1 and Big East champ)
They beat either 8 or 9 SEC teams including...
current media darling Alabama
Sec west champ USC (my current pick)
former media darling Florida
current new team on the block Auburn
a well respected (and at times highly ranked) Arkansas.
Hell even Ole Miss might get respectable before its all said and done.

Who else in the country will have a resume like that? Nobody thats who, and the coaches poll and the Harris poll have shown in the past, that after the season is done, they will take a teams ENTIRE body of work into account before voting on that last ballot to determine the NCG participants.

So if LSU wins out, book it, we are in the NCG!

God damn, I didn't say it will happen.

I said I could see it happening. As in the voters are a bunch of dumb asses that want to see Boise in it.

I think if we win we are in.

Damn y'all people flip out about anything.

whoever believs that is an idiot. Even without are tougher than normal schedule, the fact that we recently won the BCS championship game would sway the voting.

Why are people getting so worked up about what they said?
A. They didn't say we didn't deserve it. They just said we probably won't get in.
B. Even if they don't respect us, I'm pretty sure they don't have any say in the matter.

I think people in SEC(not just lsu fans) feel like if we are gonna beat each other's brains out each week in the SEC and kick every other conferences arse there shouldn't be much debate going on!!! Myself I prefer a playoff but that will never happen!!!!

It doesn't matter what the voters think. We will get in on computer score alone. It would be so much higher than every other team.

And if OSU and Nebraska wins out, do you really think LSU will make it in?

I seriously doubt it. Starting position in the polls matter, and for that starting position you can thank Les.

I think you mean "SEC east champ"

But I get what you mean, and agree with your post.

Brad Edwards said this week that with LSU's schedule, they would jump Boise and TCU with 1 loss as the SEC champ. If LSU runs the table and beats 6 ranked teams and the SEC East champ they are in period.

Wins over Auburn and Bama would vault us to the top of the polls, even if they are close games.

Also, Nebraska has an extremely weak schedule this year. And speaking of ugly wins, how about 17-3 over one of the Dakota schools.

I will listen to Brad Edwards' opinion and according to him we take care of business we are fine.

I think it would be awesome if LSU could play Boise...would the only bowls we would more than likely meet up be Sugar and NCG?

SEC Team runs the table that team is in. The computer polls / strength of schedule will hurt Boise St.

This would be a no win situation for LSU (Unless its in the NCG).. An interesting matchup for sure.. But if we win.. "They" say whoopty do.. If we lose.. Well just ask Alabama how they felt about playing.. and then subsequently losing to non-bcs Utah a couple years ago..

The media says crap like that in order to elicit this type of reaction. I call it "boosting your ratings through controversy". It looks like it's pretty effective huh?

lsumatt has analyzed the computer polls and is of the opinion the computers will bring Boise down because of SOS. He is usually spot on when it comes to breaking down the BCS.
