It’s terrible how LSU’s broadcast team is just the 90s shitty Jumbo sports dusted off and repackaged. Lyn Rollins is fine I enjoy the hokiness and the energy but it’s so LSU and Louisiana to use something like Jumbo sports as their SEC/ESPN contributors.

Rantz doesn't deserve the hate he gets here. He's not great, but he's OK. We're just spoiled with the best local duo in the country of Lynn and Ben. When you have to listen to most other teams' broadcast crews, Ronnie would fit right in with all of them.

I joke on Rantz a lot, I admit it. He just gets himself into some rabbit holes that he has no idea what he's talking about and can't escape.
Lyn is easily repetitive, but it's absolutely terrific. Anyone that doesn't enjoy Lyn and Ben together has no clue at all.

I don't mind Rantz. He had me thinking back on some LSU history with some stories.
Is there anything particular he said tonight that you think was terrible.
Lynn and Ben are the best. Lyn and Rantz are fine with me. And I'll always be thankful we don't have those guys from South Carolina

I think Rantz is great. Tough crowd here.
Without Jumbo sports, years ago, we would have missed a ton of LSU baseball games. I like him and appreciate everything he’s done bringing LSU baseball to our TVs.

Let me say again, though: If you don't like what you're hearing on TV, you can always turn down the sound and tune in to the very excellent LSU radio network. Chris Blair did the game tonight and was his usual outstanding self.

Maybe I'm prejudiced because I know all these sports guys, but Ronnie is one of my favorites. He sure has lost a lot of weight, and he does a better Skip Bertman impression than Skip Bertman.
