good point but do you think that Cooper had a lot to do with switching and teaching Claiborne the position etc.

Definitely. He is an elite position coach. He has been churning out big time dbs for a long time not just at LSU but even with his name we havent attracted the "elite" recruits over the last couple years....in fact we left an elite guy tracey howard hanging out to dry in this last cycle. It will be tough to replicate his teaching skills but we can find someone almost as good but a better recruiter

Tracy Howard never had real interest in LSU. To say we left him out to dry is just being retarded.

This kid has a very good heart and will power. He works hard for what he has accomplished. If you knew him, you would know that he's humble and gives his glory to God not himself. Judging before knowing a person can come back to bite you in the long run. I know him and I know that the judgement you have made is offensive.

Chavis may have had a little to do with it, but yeah, this one hurts.

So what happened between this article from a florida news station saying those close to TH say LSU is the leader to the one where TH said that after Billy G left he hadnt gotten a call from LSU?You would think the position coach of TH who is supposed to be a good recruiter would at least get on the phone with him..

Corey D. Thompson: @ELITE23_CT: Dang, didn't get a chance to play for him, but Coach Cooper is one of the best coaches I've met. S/O to him, and good luck in the NFL.

When have I ever tried to deny this? Two people referred to him as our best recruiter and best coach. I disagree with those statements.

You need a Zanax, dude.

Sounds like an extremely smart kid. Other recruits take note.

This sucks big time. Now im pissed we have a lot of raw athletes in the secondary with no one to coach them up. with out cooper we are fricked, unless they hire someone at least half as good. I may be jumping the gun, but there will be no more well so and so was a 3* and is going to be drafted in the early rounds.
