However he also failed to mention that there were recruits at this game as well.

And none of them mentioned the crowd leaving per Jimmy Smith. In fact most glowed about how great the atmosphere, and offense, was despite the weather.

And how can a 21 year old who's not even from LA talk about the glory days of LSU football fans? He's been going to games for what, 3 years now?

Because only people from LA know about LSU football.

We only recruit 4 guys now? Thats gonna drop our numbers

We may have recruits at every game but not all the same high profile uncommitted ones. Point is if Tiger Stadium isn't Death Valley when majority of the crowd leaves at halftime AFTER the rain stops.

If you watched the rest of the game, you saw it was far from over

I'm not saying he can't know about LSU football

But unless you've been actively going to LSU games for 20+ years, how can you pull the "Tiger Stadium ain't what it used to be" card?

Tiger Stadium is "Death Valley" maybe four or five times out of the season.

Next year will be an absolute shitshow.

Because once the rain stops everyone magically dries up from the rain that came down on them the past 4 hours. It's science....

Fans leaving early all started in the Les Miles era. With LSU leading, in most games, fans got tired of the steady diet of running the ball down peoples throats, as Miles would try to portray Mr. Nice Guy, thus no exicitement and no fun, for the fans. Teams like Oregon don't care if they are up by 20-30 points, they will run options and throw on first down. And why? For the players and the fans.

I agree real fans stay until the end. I do not undestand those who were cold, I had. My (gold) rain suit on. If you went to the game without rain gear tou have no common sense.

Just give your tickets away

Miles should call out the fans. The players should too.
