The comparison to Draymond Green is ridiculous. Green is literally twice the player Mickey is

This x 1000. Dude is a sellout. His play the last month of the season showed it. He was atrocious. Attitude is pathetic.

I'm sorry but we don't need guys like that on the team.

He was obviously hurt as well. Some of you need to relax on him a little and realize he has given a lot to this program and wants to fulfill his dream.

Quit acting like a bunch of bitter arse bitches.

This makes no sense whatsoever pertaining to our situation
Mickey and Martin are both sophomores, if they were not eligible to enter the draft until after their junior year would there be a depth issue with the front court next season?

I may get criticized for saying this, but it's a wiser decision than I and most others are willing to admit.

He's a tweener 3/4 in the NBA, and LSU doesn't have the depth to give him any reps at the 3. Frankly, he probably regrets not leaving last season as his stock was higher.

I wish him the best and will admire him taking a leap of faith choosing Jones and LSU over his multiple offers. In the big picture he's made it trendy for blue chips to go to LSU over traditional powers

It's a bad decision because he could actually develop a mid range game if he stayed for another year or two. If he wants to have longevity in the NBA, he needs to add to his game. Obviously his size will be an issue regardless of how long he stays, but he can have a solid career in the NBA if he develops a mid range jumpshot. I don't think he'll ever be a starter, but he can give a team solid minutes off the bench if he develops a shot. At this point, he's just an undersized rim protector that won't be able to protect the rim against bigger, more versatile forwards.

Beyond that, why not get your degree while you have the opportunity? Basketball just may not be his career path, so instead of hopping around Europe from paycheck to paycheck for a few years, why not develop as a basketball player and take advantage of the free education? From the outside looking in, he's not getting very good advice from his inner circle.

Anyone that ever though he was staying was in denial.

He isn't a four in the NBA. Not even a small ball 4. He's a three. If anyone plays him at the four, teams will eat him alive. Imagine him trying to D up Duncan, Randolph, Griffin, Dirk, AD, Pau Gasol, Boogie Cousins, Derrick Favors, Greg Monroe, Kevin Love, even guys like David West and Serge Ibaka.

I think his best projection in the league would be like a poor man's mid-career Tayshaun Prince or a poor man's Richard Jefferson/Caron Butler.

I understand when the money is calling ya gotta answer but always a little puzzling why any player would voluntarily end his college career on such a bad note.

None the less best of luck in the future to Jordan

Was hoping he wasn't that desperate for money, will probably wind up on a d-league team at best next season after being undrafted.

He's not an NBA 3 whatsoever. Just because of his size doesn't make him one, he has zero outside game and a very mediocre mid-range jumper. He's a 4, period.

It's true. LSU'a best win of the season was without Mickey.

Would LSU have beaten NC State without Mickey? Not sure, but he scored 12 points on 13 shots and missed 5 free throws. Don't give a shite how many blocks he had, he was so bad on offense.
