The "hat" has 5 wins against teams with records below .500, and two other wins are against 6-5 UGA and ULL.

His wins fricking suck.

We all hated Saban after losing 5 games one season as well. Just sayin'.

NEWSFLASH

Miles will not be fired. We will have a GREAT season next year!

More often than not we've lost over the past two seasons.

You mean like it is right now? You don't think back to back losses against Florida, Bama, Ole Miss and Arkansas is downhill? You're right, actually.. we've skipped the downhill part and just plunged directly off a cliff. Thank god for the miracles at UGA and MSU, otherwise we'd be looking at back to back 8-5.

Here's the way I see it. We will not get it done with Miles. It's over. This is not a new realization for me... it's just over. He's done. We can have top 5 talent for the rest of eternity, but Les Miles will not get it done, because I honestly don't even think he's a top 25 coach. His recruiting is overrated anyway. Bama and Florida are recruiting great talent every year as well--Les Miles will not be able to compete with that. The way I see it, this talent you speak of is probably already looking elsewhere. Who wants to come play for such an underachieving yet talented squad in LSU?

Are you saying we have lost more than we have won the past 2 seasons?

last year 8-5
this year 8-3 so far

That is 16-8
Im not saying it is good, but I am saying your math is questionable.

LSU's program is at/should be at a different place now. Nonetheless this whole issue is irrelevant to Saban's tenure at LSU. The question is whether we can get a coach that can do better than Les, which involves Saban in no way.

No Scott
No Williams
No Black
No Lafell
No Dickson
No Alem
No Alexander
No Woods
No Cutrera
No Riley
No Coleman
No Hawkins

Those are just guys that will be gone. Its possible we also lose Tolliver, Barksdale, and Jones.

No kidding!! If those miracles hadn't happened he would be gone already. He might would coach next week but wouldn't the bowl game. He has been very lucky with some very good athletes.

Things have changed greatly. And not just the HC salary. Everything about LSU's football program screams elite except our current HC.

How can anyone even think about championships, turn arounds, next year will be great, next season. That is appauling. With Miles still at head coach what would be any different from the year before, to this year, to next year. He will be the same moron on the sideline ruining games like he does best.

No I mean like 4, 5, 6 wins. 8-3 is not falling off a cliff, I don't care how you got the wins. I can see it now, we fire miles after next year, hire a no name who doesn't pull in top classes, we have a losing season or two and the major in state talent starts to look elsewhere.

This may happen or may not, but in an economic recession, we can't pay for Miles' buyout (I don't care how much) and afford to pay a big name.

We're 7-8 in the SEC. Your post was about playing SEC teams week in and week out. Your reading comprehension is questionable.

Fear..fear..fear..fear of becoming Nebraska..a school on the wasteland Plains in a talent-barren state..where Dr.Tom far into his career was able to import all his skill and talent to finally win a national title..and use an now antiquated steroided walk-on program of local Huskers 100 deep..

Stay where you are LSU fans..don't aspire to win national titles here forth..be content to be the new era Cholly Mac to Saban playing Bear at Bama..

Risk becoming Miami for canning your modern-day Coker..

Tigerfans..remember Frank Solich

Tigerfans remember USC post-John Robinson

Tigerfans remember Michigan post-Lloyd Carr

Wow. It's going to take 4 win seasons for you to acknowledge failure? LSU was 3-5 in the SEC last season.

Miles now has losing records against not only Meyer and Saban, but Richt, Nutt and Petrino.

It's amazing how people can choose to ignore what is staring them right in their face.
