Solich ran Nebraska's recruiting program into the ground. Smoke Laval is the comparison you are trying to make--not les Miles.

Miles still has a few things to learn about clock management, he has masteed most of all the other coaching skills--which is 99% of the job.

Our OLine disagrees.

So does the hiring of DJ McCarthy, Malleveto, Studrawa, The last Don Yankowski, Gary Crowton etc etc

If you are scared, say you are scared.

LSU deserves competence.

Wow. It's going to take 4 win seasons for you to acknowledge failure? LSU was 3-5 in the SEC last season. Miles now has losing records against not only Meyer and Saban, but Richt, Nutt and Petrino. It's amazing how people can choose to ignore what is staring them right in their face.

Wow, are your reading comprehension skills really that bad? Lets revist my first post in this thread...

I think everyone agrees that Miles can't get the job done but what IF we did get a worse coach and shite really went downhill? Everyone says LA has talent but that talent will look elsewhere if we really tank.

Miles has failed imo, but it can be much much worse. It's amazing how people chose to ignore what is staring them right in their face.

Your post was about playing SEC teams week in and week out.

Actually, read the first post. My point is that it COULD get worse if we fire a coach after a bowl bound 8 win season.

8-3 is not falling off a cliff, I don't care how you got the wins. I can see it now, we fire miles after next year, hire a no name who doesn't pull in top classes, we have a losing season or two and the major in state talent starts to look elsewhere.

fricktard yourself.

After the way this team has performed, it will get worse if we keep the coach. You think he's going to be pulling in "top 5" recruiting classes performing like this for much longer? This is 2 embarrassing years in a row. Yeah, I'm sure a talented player would love to come to LSU where we don't even know how to handle it.

That's what people are missing. A lot of people here are assuming that this is the worst it's going to get with Miles.
