It’s such a small sample but yes after State Brennan was playing really well. He did look stiff and rusty in the spring but that’s expected and he made some great throws still. Nuss looked the most comfortable and ready in spring but there are still accuracy concerns and it’s spring. I trust BK too, he’s gotten a lot out of some average QBs in the past but we’ll have to see how he fares vs the big boys every week.

Perplexed at the question. None of these guys are near a top 10 list of LSU qbs.

Jefferson at that point was a freshman that hadn't really played. He only got in cuz Lee was kinda sucking.

He scored 0 points against Troy. Lee scored 30 in one qtr. The topic is who was the better QB. So by your logic JJ was sucking against UGA in the SECCG, and Bama in the title game, then Lee should have gone in.

Now that we know the real Miles, he would rather lose a game than be proven wrong about his coaching philosophy

nthony Jennings was much better in 2016 vs Bama than JJ was in 2011-12 but we don’t rank him ahead of JJ because of that. It’s a bad standard using a poor performance just because we won the game.

Anthony Jennings was at ULL in 2016.

He played against Alabama in one game in 2014 and went 8-26 with 76 yards, a touchdown, and an interception (a TERRIBLE interception).

game vs State in 2011
The best game of his college career and an extreme outlier.

Lee won the game with his play or West Virginia when he threw 3 TDS and 0 picks to win a game where our D got shredded.

The game where Our defensive/special teams essentially scored 3 touchdowns? Lee threw a bad ball to Odell who made an incredible play, a slant to Randle, and a 1 yard (bad) pass to Clement that was nearly picked. He also almost threw a pick on the play before that, from the 1 yard line.

You can’t say the guy who’s lower by every metric including team ppg and win % is better because the team won a game where he scored no TDs and accounted for 2 first downs.
the ONLY stat Lee has over JJ is team win % lol... and that was backed by the best defense in school history in the games he started in '11.

If we're being technical, Jordan scored the 1st TD vs Troy on a rushing play. Lee threw 1 TD in the 30 point 4th quarter (though his passing was the spark the offense needed).

But the point that I was making was that you're trying to make the Troy game a "Lee bailed out Jefferson" thing and I don't think that situation fits the bill. UF and UT in 2010 do.

Not necessarily related to my point, but yes, in both of those games I thought Jordan should have been yanked for JLee.
