No he wasn't
He would go like 9/15 for 150 yds and our fans thought that was special
He pretty much threw out routes and go routes to wide open guys because other teams would stack the box because our run game and OL were so good
Then we would have short fields all game because of our defense and Mathieu returning

You had to figure a lot of people would put Etling and Lee in the top two spots for certain reasons.
Yeah I hate people pulling this card but it is 100% true that a subset of LSU fans will do just that.

Yeah this is what gets lost on a lot of our fans. Jarrett Lee made some decent throws on long developing, 2 route plays where he was throwing to either Rueben Randle, Odell, or Russell Sheapard. Pretty much everything was outside of the numbers.
Jordan Jefferson was actually more accurate than Lee, and even progressed through his reads better than Lee.

I'm under no illusions Lee was good...I would still take him over Jennings 10000000%.
Harris is somewhat debatable...but I'm of the belief that he was a retard that couldn't read a defense for shite so I'd probably just go with Lee.

Like Bama and that’s it? Lmao lets not act like Lee didn’t play a significant role in winning the Bama game in 2010 as well.

Correct take.
My ranking was
1. Etling
2. JJ
3. Lee
4. Harris
5. Jennings
As bad as Harris was, no one was worse than Jennings. Look at this statline from his last regular season start at ULL against ULM
2/5
0 (yes, ZERO) yards
2 interceptions

The defense and special teams won that 9-6 game
That's basically true, but JJ did make just enough plays to put LSU in position for the field goals they needed to win. He ran the option well and was LSU's 2nd leading rusher in the game.
As bad as the national championship game performance was, JJ actually played well against Bama in his other games. LSU had the lead at Bama at half in 2009, but then he got hurt on the first possession of the 2nd half after Bama scored. And the 2010 win against Bama when he hit Randle across the middle for the long TD is the last time we beat them in Tiger Stadium. Hard to believe it has been that long.

It's all revisionist history because Lee didn't play in the title (which wouldn't have mattered).
You just had to do it to yourself

1. Etling (competent game manager, not elite or great but seen as an absolute upgrade from what Miles had been trotting out under center)
2. Jefferson (good sophomore year, totally inconsistent his career. Came in and beat Bama in 2011)
3. Lee (played good the first half of 2011. That’s about it.)
4. Harris (second worst QB I have seen at LSU in my lifetime)
5. Jennings (worst QB I have seen at LSU in my lifetime)

Jordan Jefferson is the most awful starting SEC QB of my lifetime and the rest of them on this list stunk it up too
Lee, Jennings, and Harris all started in your lifetime so this is not true. Also, would you really take say Seth Adams, Duece Wallace, Jalen Whitlow, or other random shite qb of the last 20 years in the rest of the sec.
These are not great stats:
39/32 398 678 4733 121.4 34 20 359 1018 2.8 12
but they are also very far from worst starting qb in the SEC in your lifetime bad because that bar is really low. He had a positive td to int ratio so just get over yourself. Moreover, he didn't keep his brothers from coming here and that was fricking awesome so stop being a dick.

It was a good pass but it was just one pass. Outside of the very clutch 47 yard pass to Randle Lee's statline that game was 3/6 20 0 0. Jefferson's was 10/13 141 1 0.

62.3 %
1306 yards
7.8 y/a
14 TD
3 INT
152.0 Rating (best in SEC)
