jesus christ. you cant single guys out for personal fouls? sure we had plenty of opportunites but personal fouls are the most inexcusable parts of football.

When was the last time anyone heard of a player being suspended for a personal foul by any coach? Even when it led to a scoring drive.
that fullback for bama 7 years ago got suspended for a half. think that was for punching a guy though which is still a personal foul. other than that i've go nothing.

I didn't realize I was ever talking to you in this thread for you to expect a response.

Holding trying to make a play <<<<<<<<<<<<<< Not being able to control your temper

And I never said either should be benched, but to claim that TJ didn't play a massive role is absurd.

Basically ya'lls argument is that because everyone else didn't play perfectly within the game, one player throwing a punch after the play is over giving them a first down after a certain punt isn't really that important or particularly unacceptable.

Wow...this kind of mentality is probably how the U fanbase started to justify that shite.

Its the principle of discipline...some people have it- some don't. Probably not your fault, though

Oh yeah- must be positive correlation between intelligence and # of posts.

make 'em run. make 'em all run.

it's a systematic problem. it's the same mentality that has guys dancing around and showing off after making a tackle when we're down 14-3 or acting like the king of the world after bringing down a wideout for a 20 yard gain. it's not about making a play, it's about ME making a play. it's about ME being a big man.

REALLY?? Alem has played well all year. He made one mistake.....that didn't cost the game. Neither did Johnson's PF.

Should have sent them both to locker room during the game

Johnson's angry reaction came as a result of being deliberately poked in the eye by the Arky player. One would hope that he'd have remembered where he was and not made a boneheaded come back.

However, how's about you have someone deliberately give you a big poke in one of your eyes so we can see if you get up and trot back to your recliner without flinching and of course without taking a chop at the eye-poker.

Johnson knows the game turned on his inappropriate reaction and the resulting automatic first down penalty after a 4th & 29 stop deep in Arky territory. He's going to live with that a while, I expect. Unlike us, he and Alem can't hide behind the anonymity of the virtual world - they will have to be out and about in class, facing their fellow students and the public in general.

I love all these clueless hellfire approaches to discipline - did you even know Johnson was reacting to a viscous eye jab? Should he have refrained, sure, and I wish the hell he had ... but on the flip side of it, I'm just absolutely certain you and the rest of the firebreathers here have never, ever in your entire lives had a spur of the moment decision, the consequences of which negatively impacted others and which you immeasurably regretted. Oh, but of course not.

Florida wouldn't have a team this year if they booted their guys who got flagged.
