Johnson's penalty was completely unacceptable, it would have been 4th and 21 for Arkansas. If we had gotten the ball back at that point, we would have won imo. Instead Arkansas scored a TD on that drive.

You win as a team and lose as a team......SHOULD WE BENCH PP too for the hold?

The penalties hurt but were not a direct result of a loss.

Neither did Johnson's PF.

It turned a certain defensive stop to a scoring drive and was really the turning of the tide for their comeback.

Yeah, I would say it played a significant role in the loss.

Reward Alem and Johnson by suspending Mallory and Peveto.

When was the last time anyone heard of a player being suspended for a personal foul by any coach? Even when it led to a scoring drive.

OK- so say your kid makes a stupid mistake like getting drunk and smashing your car on the way home from a bar, or worse... What would you do?---give him a hug and say "well, it was only his first time?" Some of you people are really mentally challenged!

no they weren't a direct result of the loss. they were a cause of it.

Arkansas punts there and we get the ball on about the Ark. 40. They don't get points and we possibly get points plus run clock. How can you not think they were a big part of the loss?

I guess he subscribes to Miles's philosophy that it is always the offense's fault...they should always score more points. The defense is just there to try to make it easier, but it really isn't their job to win games.

for being hyper? for a stupid fricking penalty that I could have thrown the flag on from tiger bar.

And that is worse than Beckwith pretending to be a statue while runners go by?

You didn't answer my question about PP and we had plenty of oppotunties to win the game on the final drive!

because it wasn't a personal foul. shite happens like that. just like fumbles, picks, drops, holding, etc... kicking the ball and shoving your opponent don't just happen.

We had plenty of opportunties to win this game regardless of the penalties.........you can't single out players like that........football is a team sport.

Undisciplined penalties happen in just about every game by just about every team. Unless it was some blatant attempt to injur somebody, or contact with an official, the punishment should be done within practice.
