Living in Memphis, I've been to a few Ole Miss games even when they were not playing LSU. Right after the national anthem, some ole guy would always yell "go to hell, LSU". Ole Miss has been LSU's traditional rivalry game but over the last 10 or so years, it has become Bama for the same reasons that Ole Miss was our rival-the game is/was usually being played with championship implications.

The fact of the matter is that LSU fans want to beat Bama more than anyone else, BUT, at the same time they hate losing to Ole Miss more than anyone else (well, except maybe Tulane - when they play them.).

This past weekend an Ole Miss fan (hat and shirt with team on it) did not stand up for the National Anthem at the Octoberfest opening. Since I am a veteran, I asked him why he did not get up. He said he was eating. What a dickhead. No respect for the flag. Unacceptable.

I rate Bama as our biggest rival, as the winner of that game usually has SEC/NCG title implications.
I dislike Ole Miss, and their entitlement for nothing.

Now that aTm is in the SEC, they feel like more of a rival than Ole Miss. There's a lot of hate for the Black Rebel Bears, for sure, but aTm just seems like the better choice.

For decades LSU and Ole Miss have been each other's biggest rival. In recent years the Auburn, Bama and Florida games have carried more importance but Ole Miss is still and will long remain our biggest rivalry.
