If were talking about rivals I could careless about ole miss and I hate bama but in terms of rivals I think Florida we always have close games with them and everyone hates Florida, right?

Ole Miss LSU was huge a long time ago
I think Ole Miss probably takes it more seriously than LSU but for LSU the games against Auburn and Bama have meant more to winning the SEC West than Ole Miss except for 2003 when LSU had to beat Eli to win the co-championship!
Lately it has been Ole Miss' superbowl because they weren't going to win anything else.
This year's game ought to be a good one and we'll see how Ole Miss can handle the pressure as the favorite.

For the last 20-30 years its been a 1-way rivalry, which is why Ole miss is always up for the game and LSU sleepwalks through it.
The older fans still carry a lot of hate, but anybody under 40 hates other teams more- bama, a&m, or auburn usually. And dont forget the forced rivalry with Florida and the made up rivalry with Arky.

Depends on the age groups. Old timers were Ole Miss more than anyone. My age group, Graduated LSU in 98 was more Auburn and Florida. Younger guys bama. My ranking of best wins for me personally, since I live in texas is:

I hate Ole Miss so much more than I do Alabama. Maybe it's from growing up and Memphis and being surrounded by Ole Miss fans every day. The Alabama game generally means more, but I hate losing to Ole Miss more than any other team. I at least respect programs like Alabama and Auburn. I have very little respect for Ole Miss' program.

Ole Miss has never hurt our big seasons. When we weren't good they beat us but it was the difference between non BCS bowl games at that point anyway.

I hate Ole Miss. I hate everything about them. I hate the grove and the pretentiousness there. I hate those people who have the chandelier, especially. I hate their colors, the location of Oxford, I hate Hotty Toddy. I hate their fight song and I hate their mascot...both of them. I want to see Shepard Smith crying like a little Biyatch . A bunch of rednecks whose excrement sinks just like anyone else... and they should be reminded of it, yearly.
