Every college QB should look good throwing vs air.

He's looked bad before in practice. I think the comments about him looking good are more focused towards his form and mechanics.

Here's one of our cameras at practice today, this is the vets practice.

It's Raw video, so excuse the focusing and crap.

I played baseball at Butler last year while Mett was there. Met the guy a couple different times and you could tell he was a douche. He was at a JUCO after being at UGA and you could tell he had that " I don't give a shite about any of these people, I have one year here and I am done attitude." It was probably a bit of a culture shock getting back to the SEC and realizing he wasn't the only star on the team anymore and he couldn't get away with anything he wanted. Butler football is like a pre school. They can do whatever they want and there are no repercussions, thats why they are there in the first place.

I'm gonna try, it takes about a half an hour to get stuff up, I'll try and get the rookie practice up later tonight. We're starting to do more web videos, because we just found an easier way to do it.

That's great to hear. Would love to watch a little bit of practice each day. You could probably make a topic and just edit the post daily with additional links to the videos. I'm sure people would enjoy that.

I don't think that's normal, may want to get checked out.

I just noticed something in Sports2's video.

Why does Lee seem to be side-arming his release a slight bit? Nothing about Lee's arm mechanics needed fixing, imho, only footwork.

Didn't notice that when I watched, although I admit I didn't focus on Lee. He probably either tweaked something or is just his motion for the type of throw.

I know there have been multiple threads on this before, but I noticed someone in the video was wearing #18 and I think it was a DB...is that Brandon Taylor?

you people do realize that was a game of catch?
Like out in your back yard when you where a kid.

I mean seriously.

No one was commenting on his accuracy or him threading the needle. We were talking about his mechanics which were 10x better than before. As Roaad said, he looks like he's throwing a football FINALLY instead of a baseball.

Pretty easy when there is no defense and he is just throwing to random reads. His release looks a little quicker, but he's still got to prove it when pressure is in his face and he doesn't have preset throws to make.

You can take almost nothing from this video too, because LSU most definitely edited it to only show the good throws for JJ.

I dont care how his mechanics look.

I care about making plays, making smart decisions, moving the football and scoring points.
Thats the purpose of a qb.

After what we have seen for last three years, I suppose positives arent hrd to find.
