So why do you think he went undrafted? cus jjs poor through, or because of not going up for the ball, poor attitude?

I see what you are trying to do, I wasn't getting on JJ just saying I think he has better coaching now. Also if thats not a throw JJ is comfortable with maybe we won't see it or there is a better adjustment that can help. When you are 6'5 and the QB throws it 15 feet over your head what can you do? He was wide open. Jefferson made the right read because the DB was playing way off but he has always had problems making that throw.

JJ's release looks cleaner, faster, much improved. So is Mett on the JV because it looked like only JJ and JL getting reps. Mett, Rivers, and Randall were nowhere to be found, not even standing around watching/learning from the coaches.

The rumors are getting around about Mett. I am sure you have heard them by now.

IDK about you guys, but Brick Haley looks like something out of central casting for a southern DL coach. Big chaw in his lip and yellin' at his boys.

Been said on here. . .and I have heard it around.

Word is that Mett has a bit of an attitude. Miles doesn't like it, Krags doesn't like it, and the Upperclassmen don't like it.

Could be bullshite. . .but the smoke is there.

He is throwing like a QB, instead of like a Centerfielder

Hatcher looks like a LB. He has worked his physique to look the part.

Brooks looks more fluid and smooth. Reid looks like a man. . .

Probably because he was told he'd have a legit shot/open competition to start when he was recruited, then found out it was a lie. When "Body of Work" and experience is the #1 reason given for JJ starting, the competition never was open. How was Mett supposed to build a body of work at LSU?

BTW, not saying he should start. JJ is your starter and will be the entire 2011 campaign. With a game the magnitude of Oregon to start the year, he's clearly the only logical choice. Just giving a reason as to why Mett might have a bit of an attitude.

No.

He came to campus with it.

The rest of your post is just a jab at Miles/JJ

That's a jab at JJ? Saying he's the only logical choice to be the starter considering the opening game is against the #3 ranked team in the nation?

Ah, so Mett with attitude = problem. JJ with attitude = Jefferswag. Gotcha

I can see where he would have an attitude. He probably feels like since he was such a highly recruited talent out of high school, could have been the UGA starter, and had an excellent year last year that he should start.

I thought we were comparing QBs with an air of confidence about them. When JJ says he's clearly the starter, no doubt about it, it's a sign of confidence in himself. When Mett has the same confidence that he should be the starter, it's deemed an attitude problem. Seems hypocritical...

So you assume that attitude=confidence?

You think the upperclassmen are turned off by Mett's "confidence"?

I doubt seniors on the team like some new kid, he's no more then a freshmen to them, coming in and taking over the team when they already have a leadership circle.

Attitude of Mett probably references work habit more than anything else. Just guessing as I don't have ANY inside info on this subject.

Players (or coaches) don't like slackers.
