Chidi Valentine-Okeke saw playing time in 11 games before transferring, I would argue he would be contributing now if not starting. Who knows maybe even Willie Allen could have contributed on the two deep as well.

He played in all 11 games mostly at special teams. His career high was 9 snaps in a game. It's a shame as I had high hopes for Chidi. He is manning LT at Tennessee State for Treon Harris.

Willie Allen??? c'mon man.

Got to find that gear, baby!!

This is a rebuild, either get on board or enjoy 1990-1999 again.

We’re already on track for this at this rate.

We had the top OL in the country last year.

You don't get "belief in success" without 1) Proven Metrics of Success or 2) A Plan that makes everyone feel like success has a high chance of happening

O has neither of these things, hence the concern. Belief doesn't create success. O has instilled 0 confidence that he can win even an SEC championship here.

An SEC Championship?

I don't see us finishing .500 in the SEC this year. And it's only going to get worse as recruiting dwindles and the holdover talent graduate or goes pro. Not to mention Aranda and/or Canada potentially heading for greener pastures.

In fact, he has the opposite. If he succeeded, he'd be bucking his own career trends as head coach.

frick...we hired a guy that needed to turn his career around to be what we wanted him to be here. How does that happen?!?

What about all the OL that have left the team since he took over? Who gets the blame for that?

I'm not sure that anyone is to blame for that. Do you have any additional info on why those players left?

We can say what we want about a lot of other things, but those 2 issues are on Miles.

Not an O apologist. I just think we need to be fair about why we have some of the problems we have.

Miles is partially to blame, especially for the QB. But the mass lineman exodus occurred under O's watch for whatever reasons. O is at least equally to blame. Next year is looking like a wholly inexperienced backfield. Whose fault is that.

These horrid depth issues only seemed to come to light after we got our shite pushed in by a mediocre to bad State team

This just isn't true. There was a lot of talk about the thin OL in the preseason. I think the reality of the impact of that wasn't felt until MSU. But, suggesting that nobody realized it, or that it's just an excuse is ridiculous.

DERPPPPPP.

O was in charge when Allen, Teuhuma, and a few other guys left the team.

Miles would have got them straight, and hopefully kept them in the program - especially Teuhuma

Wait, you think the OL played worse after Miles was fired last year than before he was fired?

I have the confidence in the staff on hand. I think Dave Aranda is a proven top-notch defensive coordinator. I think Matt Canada can develop talent and quarterbacks to make a very potent offense. I believe that O is one of the best Recruiters in the country and has great knowledge of defensive line. You put that all together with the talent in Louisiana and the talent that the program can attract and you got yourself another Powerhouse. You piss and moan and say that the players suck the coaches suck well guess what you going to get you going to get a program that f****** sucks.

Yes, we knew we would be a little thin up front. But you're kidding yourself if you don't think people are using it to validate losing by 30 to a bad state team and losing to frickING TROY. Yes, we lost a lot of talent last year. Like we do every year. We didn't lose so much that we should be this bad. At some point, this is Orgeron's team (cough NOW cough) and he will have to have some blame. I can feel the ground shaking in Baton Rouge from people continually moving the goal posts.
