Or the fact that he had an opportunity to hire his own OL coach but kept the same one? Why doesn't he get blame for that?
He definitely gets blame for that!

I'm sure he's just marking time until KM can complete the necessary coaching apprenticeship with the Bears to become eligible for a position at LSU.

Miles and BBQ Jeff both get the blame for the current OL disaster. (God awful recruiting and development) The current ones aren't and the ones that left weren't SEC Championship quality OL's. Incredibly low standards of excellence all the way around.

OL needs a complete overhaul, not just a few holes that need to be filled in...............

Mawae's not with the Bears anymore. They fired their OL coach after last year and didn't keep Mawae either. O could have had him on staff already.

sacks are not the only thing a dline does

miles is one of the best oline coaches in cfb.

your proven ignorant opinion doesn't outweigh facts.

We should be 6-0; not 4-2. That’s on O to develop what we have.

Depth at the lines is on Miles though.

I’d say 50/50 Miles/O to blame.

So the recruiting and development of the OL was poor yet they were the highest rated OL in CFB last year? And the difference this year is that Les is gone and Orgeron is here.

Not Les's fault that Orgeron either chased linemen away or they couldn't wait to get off this sinking ship.

If you were a High School 5-star recruits hearing that. Why would you sign with LSU Head Coach Ed Orgeron? Knowing that he is not really in charge over how LSU runs their offense and defense plays?

I think it's a great class but it didn't fill immediate needs.

We could have used a few JUCO DL and OL

In what way?

Miles didn't force them all to transfer once Orgeron was hired.
