We can say what we want about a lot of other things, but those 2 issues are on Miles.

Not an O apologist. I just think we need to be fair about why we have some of the problems we have.

Well he's the fricking head coach, so he sort of is to blame.

What about all the OL that have left the team since he took over? Who gets the blame for that?

Or the fact that he had an opportunity to hire his own OL coach but kept the same one? Why doesn't he get blame for that?

I have no problem with getting rid of Grimes but no OL coach would have come in here and had a bunch of freshmen overpowering people right now.

Not the point...your thesis is that O is not responsible for the current OL. It seems to me the loss of OL personnel, starters or not, is on the current coach.

Nope I blame him for not addressing issues that caused an exodus of offensive lineman in the off-season. Miles wasn't around for that FWIW.

I think he gets some credit for the transfers that occurred under his watch. I agree that CLM had completely fricked the Oline, Dline and QB situation, but O is not blameless.

O gets a large amount of blame for both. First, Etling may be looking worse then he was last year. You may say that's Canada's fault, but I would say that by being Canada's fault it is O's fault. He's the HC.

There have been O linemen leaving since O took over. Young guys are missing blocking assignments. Gameplans and schemes have not been changed to adjust to lack of experience. All that falls on O's head.

We lost to TROY. TROY had a line almost as young as ours and just as inexperienced. NONE of those players would ever have been recruited to a program like LSU. They still pushed our shite in. That is absolutely O's problem.

The fact that they played better against Fl proves to me that it was a scheme/prep problem and not a talent problem.

Chidi Valentine-Okeke saw playing time in 11 games before transferring, I would argue he would be contributing now if not starting. Who knows maybe even Willie Allen could have contributed on the two deep as well.

Why are people so focused on starters? How many snaps a game does the average #2 OL get? If a player left and would be #2, then that forces a #3 to play that amount of snaps, or that the #1 play gets more snaps and is worn down at the end of the game.

O knows we need more depth on both lines, and hopefully he can bring in a mix of top high school talent and JC transfers.

Horseshat....he knew what he was getting himself into...the good, the bad, the ugly and had ample time to configure the style/manner of play.

Quit giving the goofball a pass. He SOUGHT this job. No need to feel sorry or make excuses for his sorry performance as a HC who is way in over his head...kiddie pool donning floaties is too deep for this guy

He is paid quite well for the poor play seen to date.

No head coach ever deserves zero blame for issues within their program.

You want to make the big boy bucks? You put on the big boy pants. It's as simple as that.

If he knew they lacked on the lines dating back to last season why did he not seek to address those issues with his last recruiting class. Meaning sign some JC guys that could contribute on the lines for this current season. Or did he only realize the depth concerns when people showed up in the fall?

poor les even he doesn't coach he gets shite on.

O kept grimes on staff so yes I blame orgeron. As far as qbs etling looks to have regressed in my opinion so yes orgeron is to blame

When the team blows this falls on the head coach. No if ands or butts
