Nope. Keep dreaming this as your NC game because it is all Ole Piss fans have to hope for every year.

You're NOT on Bama, Auburn, or Florida's radar when it comes to the rivalry thing. I would be kinda embarrassed claiming one of them as your main rival. It's just silly.

2000s: 7-3
1990s: 4-6
1980s: 7-3
1970s: 8-2

If you have to go back to the 60s to find a time when this rivalry was truly interesting, I'd say that the rivalry can officially be pronounced dead.

Why don't y'all just focus on the Egg Bowl?

Bigger game yes.

But UGA's main rival is and always will be GT.

If you need a rival so bad anyway, it should be Mississippi State. You compete with them most heavily for recruits, and they are in your division and in your state.

Arkansas is definitely a bigger rivalry than Ole Piss and has been for awhile now.

Florida-FSU

is irrelevant now. Florida-UGA is the big one! FSU has become a joke since they joined the ACC, just like we said they would.

and both are enjoying the cellar of the West

It's a beautiful thing when Piss is at the bottom of the barrel

Ole Miss is a "nostalgic" rival from 40-50 years ago when the game had significant conference and national implications. Bama and Florida are much bigger rivals now.

They may be irrelevant on the national stage. But, I promise you they ARE NOT irrelevant in the eyes of Florida.

Saying you're LSU's biggest rival is pretty lame. LSU has two contrived "rivalry games" between Arkansas and Ole Miss. LSU's real rivals are Auburn and Alabama, because that's how the West is Won.

Ole Miss isn't "biggest" anything.

LSU doesn't seem to have a real rival, but I for one would agree that Ole Miss is at the top. When I was a kid, born in 56, to my dad Ole Miss was the rival. I can remember "Archie Who?" with archie being burned in effigy on campus.

first game i ever went to was LSU Ole Miss when LSU one 17-16 when Jones hit Brad Davis with a short pass with the eternal second left hanging on the scoreboard to allow the last play.

What a memory!

First, what is your purpose for this post? Thanks for letting us know?? Why would you think that LSU ever overlooks Ole Miss? That's just ignorant.

By the way it could be said that Tulane was LSU's biggest rival for a very long time. So, it has nothing to do with "whomever is good that season" considering the LSU vs Tulane series stood at 63-22-7 until 1994 when they stopped playing every season. Also, it was named the magnolia bowl 2 years ago and the Rag has been around since 1940.

You do realize the series record is 34-31-4 since 1938.

Why 1938? What the frick is relevant about that date? Oh, of course, it helps you skew your bullshite because you lost 20 of 27 before then.

Why not the entirety of the "rivalry"? Why not desegregation? You know, the last time your program was worth a flying frick?

No need to be so disingenuous.
