If you are talking about a rival from a pure hate perspective than we are not the main rivals with Auburn, Bama or Florida. But, in reality if you asked those fans what are their biggest games and who are the teams they want to beat the most. Then LSU is at the top of the list, just because the games have been so big for the last 10 years.

LSU and Ole Miss were rivals, bu it is much more one-sided than it used to be. I find it funny that you are on here trying to force LSU fans to acknowledge you as our main rival, when before the season all the Ole Miss fans were giving State crap for trying to get Ole Miss to acknowledge that State as their biggest rivals. A lot of younger LSU fans only know of the real Ole Miss rivalry from hearing their parents talk about it.

It was an eye opener for me as a college student going to Ole Miss in 2003. I never realized how Ole Miss really hated us until that year. You could really see it Ole Miss fan's eyes. Then one of my best friends in law school was an Ole Miss fan and I saw it much more, but it was a much bigger rivalry to him than me. It is just not what it used to be.

It must suck not having a true rival then.

Not really. Those two BCS National Championships and those six College World Series Champions trophies have helped us get through it.....

Dude, give it up. You are getting pretty much dominated on this post.

If we make it a three-peat this weekend, will you consider us a rival? (Since the win-loss part of this is so important to y'all and everything.)

FWIW, I think that banner is silly.

Toddy, Have you tried facebook or some of the Matchmaking services?
I'm sure we can find you a rival out there somewhere...
How 'bout Stephen F. Austin or St. Mary's on the Snake?

Get a few consecutive 9 win seasons under your belt, maybe an SEC Championship, then we'll talk. Even if you start winning the series, you'll still be seen as little more than spoilers.

Ole Miss is still a sweat it out game every year.
They seem to step it up against LSU. Arkansas is not even close to our main rival.

Exactly. Arkansas hates OM more than LSU anyway. (in large part because of Nutt)

In terms of team I would punch my grandma to beat every season, in order:

Bama
Florida
Auburn
Georgia (on years we play them)
Arky
Ole Miss

Congrats - you made the top 6

And yet if you ask most Arky fans, they wouldn't agree. OM is a much bigger rival to them than LSU.
