Nah, Mettenberger vs Randall.

What's funny about this "controversy" is that the QB position has been integral but not a deciding factor in any of the games this year.

Why would you do that? People like to continue sayIng that you cant bring up lee's past history. But you can continue to bring up jj's. Why is that?

Well in your world it might make sense to put equal value on Lee's RS freshman year where he was thrown in with no game experience in 2008 and JJ's 2010 where he was a Junior and had started what 13 games prior to the start of the season.

Lee was not given a shot at starting last year no matter how poorly JJ played or how well Lee played but after one poor performance by Lee in 11 plays and an adequate at best performance by JJ at Bama JJ is handed the starting job!

Does that really make sense even in your world of JJ love?

how much did Lee get in the game the last half of the season? he had really one play against Bama. Nothing against Ole Miss, Arkansas, or A&M. How exactly can you even begin to compare the two in that stretch when one barely even got in the game?
Limited action #1

So limited action hurts a QB's eff rating?
Limited action #2
Not propping or dissing either one, just seeing to it the facts are straight.

No, what that sounds like is a bunch of fricking excuses to shite on the other qb. Also you threw in some more whining about equality and fairness.

This is big boy football. Quit crying.

Both qbs are helping lead lsu to a title. You should enjoy it instead of tearing it down.

Yeah, YOU don't have any agenda. Right.

How the hell did you survive the first half of this season?

I was wondering that myself! Maybe Mayhawman rewatched all 3 or 4 of JJ's good games last year over and over and just skipped past the other 9-10.

In didn'put any QB down, only posted about 2ints in 7 pass attempts might be an identifier against probable odds of winning the game.
You think I have agenda, where I don't.
I've come to TBob's defense and also other players.

I will give Mayhawman this. He is a hater, and he is biased but at least he doesn't lie about it and try to hide it. Straight forward.

JJ's 3/10 2 pick performance didn't pose as an identifier last year or reduce his playing time, and that was against UT, not the #1 ranked defense in the country. His 7/13 games w/ under 100 passing yards didn't either, but yeah let's pull Lee after his first bad game. Seems logical

JJ had 7 TD passes all year last year, 3 coming in the bowl game. Lee had 13 after 8 games.

I've enjoyed the season, no matter the QB.
I've only said we'd need JJ for the Gumps. Pretty sure I remember you posting the same.

1st off I ain't CLM, so don't give me grief about last years or this year's starting QB situation.

I'm not sure why last year keeps popping up in this, actually.
So far, the QBs look to have fairly similar results this year. If Lee has recovered, I don't think either would be a hinderance to the rest of the season, unless we meet the Gumps again in NCG.

uh you brought up last year earlier ITT talking about JJ performance starting w/ the Bama game and then provided a stat sheet of last year. You tell me why it keeps getting brought up.

Sorry, but JL doesn't have much of a limited PT stretch this year. No agenda in refuting the idea limited playing time being a detriment to eff rating.
Those are just the latest stretches of limited PT for both QBs in question, not cherry picking some 7 game stretch during the middle of last year, etc.

Uh please explain your understanding of cherry picking. First of all 7 games was more than half of last season. Secondly it was 7 consecutive games not 1 here, 1 here, 1 here and so forth. He was arguably the worst qb in the country for over half the season. Look at his numbers after the Bama, Ole Miss and TAMU games he was 100th out of 116 in the nation and 11th out of 12 in the SEC where do you think he was at the end of that 7 game stretch. He was the worst qb in the country and you are going to argue he should have played and be playing?

Fine I will discuss games before the Bama game. Name me 1 game before the bama game where Lee lit up the defenses. Show me his BEST game against ANY opponent. Show me the stat line that should convince me he should be the starter with no questions asked.

Better yet show me a game where JLee was absolutely dominant. I mean people act as if JLee won those game on his arm alone. Truth be told it was the play of our DOMINANT defense along with the steamrolling running game we had all year. Lee was MAYBE the 3rd or 4th reason we won games.
