that’s why I’m staying in Newport even though it’s far

same, I'm staying in Huntington Beach and flying in and out of John Wayne Airport. I feel better spending my money in Orange county rather than LA county.

There is a Pasadena mask requirement for all indoor settings since late July. So folks need to have and wear masks if they are going to be indoors part of the time at Pasadena sports bars after the game.
when are you expected to be wearing a mask inside a sports bar... assuming everyone is drinking

Restaurants, bars, pubs and breweries when not eating or drinking

It's pretty much the same as everywhere else. Wear your mask when you walk through the door. Order some booze and food, then take it off and enjoy yourself.

super pumped to have LSU back in Cal. I last saw football here in the 80's. Baseball in early 2k Excited to have a great weekend with the travelers coming in. Lets pray that the wheels don't fall off this covid train, and we can actually pull this off. I'm in the North East OC area 20 minutes from Newport Beach, 30 minutes from Pasadena.

some great areas to hang out at in Newport pre partying. Anywhere near Newport pier The world Famous Mutt Lynch's and a little Bar row on the boardwalk is lots of fun with plenty of talent. The Beach Ball, Sharkys, Mutts all within 100 yds of each other. Several not on the board walk. Malarkeys, The Helmsman (a favorite) Woodys(overlooking the harbor) Newport is a good time. Huntington Beach up the road is just as lively, but can get squirrely later in the eve. Lots of alcohol fueled young testosterone, and stupidity can show up but still safer than Bourbon street. Great bars on HB Main street Perqs, Freds, the longboarder, and an upper scale awesome food experience is DUKES at the pier.

For Old town Pasadena, its a good time there too. Really only hung out at Barneys with the wife (no pics) but theres a good bunch of bars there. Lucky Baldwins, the 35er etc..

Looking forward to having you guys in, just checked my schedule and I'm off Thurs until Monday ! Will travel to wherever for a good time with some Tigers GEAUX TIGERS !~

I have questions. If I fly into Burbank Friday and me and my friend want to go out in LA, should we just stay at a hotel in LA or could we stay in Pasadena and uber to LA friday night? Or is that going to a stupid expensive uber ride to LA?

Depends on which part of L.A. you want to go out in. I’m in Silver Lake which is a couple of miles from downtown and probably four from Hollywood. If I was to take a Lyft to Pasadena (12 miles away) right now it would be $26. Probably the same the other way around but likely a little more on a weekend night.

that's not that bad. that's about how much it costs to uber from Jackson to Madison. It's mainly some restaurant and a bar she wants to go to that has something to do with Vanderpump Rules

SUR? Hahaha that’s funny. My ex loved that show. That place is in West Hollywood right on the border of Beverly Hills.

This is the post I've been waiting for, just a couple spots thrown out to meet up at. This sounds good, how do you bump it to the top?

Get together somewhere in Manhattan for those interested?
