He wasn't talking about fans. He was talking about a bunch of assholes that call themselves fans.

Why do people keep saying we have the #1 recruiting class? We don't. And last year we finished sixth. Not in the top five!

If it is true as you say that Aleva's contract goes through 2020, what brilliant soul decided to give him that many years--can't see other schools beating down his door to get them to come run their athletic programs.

Could the boosters raise enough money to get rid of Aleva?

I'd like to ask him why he has the most penalized team in the SEC.

I'd like to show him his post game press conference after the Arkansas game and ask him how if this obviously whipped, dejected, and deluded coach is going to lead this team. LINK

A "coup"?

A fricking COUP?

What is it now with you cultists--is Miles a king?

No ... he's a football coach on the downside of his career who won a natty, but in the last three years is a .500 coach in the SEC West, where he competes.

How it was "handled" is irrelevant. An AD wanting to fire a coach with Miles's recent track record makes sense. It makes perfect sense for LSU to move forward if it wants to once again be an elite program.

Get out of here with this "coup" bullshite.

The administration was guilty of the old adage ...."we didn't plan to fail, we failed to plan."

Talk about poor execution in seeking to rid LSU of Miles. You don't get into the midst of executing a plan to negotiate a contract with the new coach and then suddenly start to worry about the politics, PR and appearance side of your actions and the money being paid out. Looking at you "F King."

I didn't like the whole way Les was left to twist in the wind, but damn if you are going to get rid of him, then nut up, plan it out and then do it. The handling of this was poor. I suspect there is much more to it behind the scenes and Alleva will ultimately be the fall guy (not that I am a fan).

The article linked is missing context. I'm assuming you didn't watch his press conference because it was a very tongue-in-cheek response to a specific question. I thought it was a great reasons by les

Alleva looks like a real piece of shite - because he is incompetent.

More of the same? More of the most successful 10 year stretch in lsu history? Also, let me know if there is anywhere to go but down from an undefeated sec record. I'm pretty sure you can't do better than undefeated in sec play. I guess webster changed the definition on undefeated.

Facts say we've had 1 bad season and it was last year.

I'm not clocking the link, but if he said that, his dumbass needs to be worried about not getting your arse kicked in games. Screw what other people are talking about.

That most successful 10 year run ended several years ago, and as much as you hate to hear it was built by the coach we stole from Michigan St. He won a national title and 2 SEC titles in a three year stretch. That's something our "good guy" never did.

You do realize that LSU got absolutely skullfricked on National TV on three consecutive weekends, correct?

The SEC record decline has been there every year since 2011.

Whoa boy, we went from 4-4 SEC to 5-3. Awesome.

No decline this year, but still 3rd in the West and not even sniffing 1st.

Blowouts to the SEC Big Boys.

Pumps love the Rank M.

Yeah let's not focus on the absolute arse kickings that happened for 3 straight weeks and the limp to a win against a crappy A&M team. Woohoo! We're back boys!
