So Miles wants to reacquaint himself with the guys that he openly mocked when they asked him about preparing a qb for 2015?

I thought a decline is having a worse record than last year. I guess webster changed the definition of decline.

Wow, really?

LSU played in a championship game, lost 21-0 and could not cross midfield. Miles lost that game without even trying to do something different.

Since that time, until today, you tell me if the team is declining or not?

But hey, you keep telling yourself things are all good with the Tigers, you will be see more of the same.

Don't blame him for being bitter. This was handled so bad, and it did affect recruiting.

Did you just call the head football coach at lsu trash?

Sounds like you think that someone saying they would like to meet someone in an alley is trash.

What? How did you get that from what he said?

That was a quote before the op.

He's talking about having to put in work to get this class back on track now the prospects know he is going to be here. He's pissed about people leaking he was gone. It fricked with recruiting.

I know people don't like the guy, but come on dude. Blinded by hate.

How did LSU handle it so badly?

Miles could have announced his resignation, but I guess you would have preferred a vote of confidence from the AD

Ah, I see now. My mistake, it's pretty late, cut me some slack.

Who does he want to meet in a dark alley?

I see a similar trend that happens in 08.

09,10 and 11 classes put us back at elite level.

14,15 and 16 is shaping up that way. Except that 14 and 15 were the first back to back top 5 classes in Les' tenure. Possibly about to have 3 in a row. LSU has never recruited at this high of a level before.

So I think they are on the rt track and that rt there doesn't signal a program on the decline.

Texas, UTk, Miami Nebraska. Those teams didn't have the #1 class when they fired coaches, so I don't think LSU is in a similar situation.

Now if we were talking about a class in the 20s, it might have been even easier for them to cut ties with Miles.

I don't know, that came after he said things about recruitment. Maybe he's talking about a booster, or maybe a guy like Scott rabalais. Your guess is as good as mine.

That would be funny if the alley was off of a street named Broussard

That is exactly what should have happened. Then after the season you can still fire his arse. Say you did a review of the season on the whole and think its time for LSU to move in another direction. Instead you make the decision in the 3rd quarter of a freaking game and makes you look foolish.

I doubt there would have been any back lash if it was handled that way.

Yep, even if he'd just booked a flight to talk to Jimbo himself, you lie and give the vote of confidence.

Tell ya what Les, forget about the back alley stuff and just do you job and coach your team to meet a Nick Saban team on the field and take care of business.
