Firing him now would so no good purpose.
This is more about the players than the coach, so nothing would improve.
I think everyone now agrees that it is highly unlikely Coach Jones will return.

This. JJ needs to know how much he has set this program back and if he has any pride for the program he needs to leave NOW. He is just not cut out for this and his presence is going to further bring down the potential for success.

What in the hell is wrong with some of you? Who is in charge and to blame then?
JJ is in charge and should be held accountable. If the players won't play hard, then he is to blame. He had the #1 pick in the NBA draft last year and couldn't make the tourney, he needs to leave NOW before he destroys anything more.

This needs to end TODAY. If Joe doesn't pull the trigger Johnny needs to step down. If he truly loves his university and wants what's best for it, he will resign TODAY effective immediately.
