It's a good time to launch the Mett Era. The Mean Green have the youngest secondary in the nation: Took this from their blog guy.

"North Texas will be rolling out an entirely new secondary for the first time since moving back to Division-I in 1995, and that might be a unique fact nationwide. The University of Virginia is doing a research project about the youngest secondaries in the country, and so far the Mean Green is in the lead. The research is ongoing, but NT might be alone in not having a senior amongst the starting four secondary members."

we don't have a senior starter either... But I doubt we're the youngest.

I hope Miles is not conservative, but this should be a good chance to air it out in the 1st half, then pound them with Hilliard and Copeland in the 2nd half.

Meh, this just means Miles will run the ball 40 times because that is not what people expect him to do.

Wasn't north Texas the one with a pretty good RB last year?

I don't know what's funnier, the fact you call everyone 'clyde' in your posts, or the fact you have a signature that you type out every time instead of set as an actual signature.

Keep up the good work.

...won't need it. NT sucks; they've sucked for a long time (winning 20% of their games over the last decade). I doubt they can beat ULM. It will be a slaughter.

Bad weather keeps Mett's stats from getting out of hand.

Miles knows the RB's can run and the OL can block like bitches. What he needs to do and what we as fans need to see is a dam air raid!!! It would also put some confidence in the passing game right out the box. I really hope he doesn't go conservative.

I think miles will play this one alittle vanilla. Show off mett alittle but but I expect a lot of ground and pound in this one. Think mett will throw maybe 20 times. I just think he's gonna try to not show off to much

I think that's a good prediction (20 passes or so) and let the ground and pound take over. Also, Washington's defense sucks too. So, the 1st 3 games could really develop the LSU passing game.

They have no shot, but UNT really is much better than they have been in a long time. I think their RB is at the cowboys now.

Think you might be a little conservative? LSU averaged 22 throws a game last year. The lowest total in recent history... Miles has said this is supposed to the the "open it up"season.

Yeah, but hopefully, this one is out of hand by the first LSU series (or second) of the second half and Bolden/Rivers/Randall play the rest of the game.

25 to 28 pass attempts total, if the game is completely out of hand early would be a good sign.

Mett should get 22 passes this game. We will have the ball a shite ton on offense and run about 70plays. 40 rushes and 30 passes. I say we go over 500yds of offense.
