Mingo will not go in the draft. He's gonna stay for his senior year to improve his size a little bit, and because he absolutely loves school. As far as what kind of player he's gonna be, he's 2 inches taller and 15 lbs lighter than Justin Tuck (of the Giants). If he puts on about 20 lbs or so, I see him being the same kind of explosive end as Tuck.

Mingo and Sam started the year as hot commodities, but their stock has dropped since then. Both have limited skills when it comes to rushing the passer. Sam has a hard time disengaging and dissecting plays. Mingo is good at speed rushing around the end but not great. They both can improve once they get some pro coaching, but at the moment they both are late 1st or 2nd round picks.

I had it as my sig quote the entire season so I know I'm not making it up....and here is your proof.

Not trying to be a Debbie downer but our DE and DL haven't lived up to expectations this year.

You people are so dumb. It's not all about being a pass rusher. There are two parts of the game, running and passing. M&M are a huge reason why teams can't run against us which forces them to be very one dimensional. Football isn't about pass rush it is about positioning.

You are dumb and obviously have no clue about what you are talking about.

It's more fair to say we have unproven depth. We have talented kids, they just haven't gotten a chance to show it.

We got Greg Gilmore coming in next year. He's a big time recruit.

Not saying Mingo can't get bigger or improve. He's just not there yet and needs more work. A team would have to take a chance on him as a first rounder.

some of yall r frickin stupid. mingo will go top 10 no doubt. nfl loves freaky athletes. he will kill the combine. he has a frame too add 25 lbs and not lose much of a step. sonic sam will go be top 20 at worst. and mingos gone brother. im friends with him. him and sam both gunna get paid.

potentially scary bad a positive is that whoever replaces Mingo will probably make more plays on the first series of the first game then Mingo has all year.

This is an overreaction thread. There may not be guys with significant reps but plenty of talented guys ready to contribute. you also need to factor the sick depth at LB will help take some pressure off. Rasco, Hunter, Allen, Maclin by all accounts will be ready and you know one or a few of the guys we bring in like Herron or Beckwith will get snaps. All these players were highly recruited.

I know that Jordan Allen was getting serious hype coming into the year before he got hurt.

Someone will step up..there's a wealth of talent here.

Every top 10 of every mock draft disagrees with you.

Mingo is your prototypical, freakishly athletic 3-4 OLB, would thrive on a defense like the steelers. No doubt top 10 in the NFL draft.

I don't think Mingo is a 1st round pick at this point. Really needs another year to gain some size. He could be a 1st round pick with another 15-20 pounds and a good senior year.

I'm talking about gaining much more than 235. That's still small
