NFL scouts disagree with your amateur evaluation.

Jaketiger all the drft projections have Mingo and Montgomery in the top 10 some top 5 one has mingo

Some draft anaylist have both in the top 5!
I stand corrected about the kid fom Nebraska I spoke in ignorence and will delete.

Go look at the Draft projections both go in the top 10 thats what NFL scouts are saying.
You do relize mingo ran a 4.5 40 he ran track in high school 100 meter hurdles.
One service projects him #1 overall! with his size and speed he could actually play OLB in the NFL.
jscrims I got my info from NFL SCouts!!!!

Dude, no offense but nfl scouts >>> your opinion and they disagree. M&M are both projected in the top 10

mingo is 25 right now. that was at the start of the season. Te'o and others have moved in. They don't even have Bray as a first rounder and I bet he is. Others like Murray, Wilson, Barkley, the TAMU and Bam Olines. All of those players take up slots. QB and Oline are premiums.
I believe that Minter goes before BOTH of them.

Its really early to be taking any draft projections as gospel.

wse have about 46 guys sitting on the bench.some body needs to step up.if the recruiting was right then some these guys needs to hit the field.

quote:exactly. There is some serious depth in this years draft. Wilson, Murray, Bray are not listed in the first round. One or 2 will be in the first round. When players move up, others move down. Not saying it wouldnt be someone like Barret Jones, but it is early.

Mingo is not a first round pick. He may go as a project by some team, but he's skinny enough to be a WR if you look at his frame on TV. He couldn't get past an NFL O lineman to save his life. He needs to bulk up and stay on the team and improve his draft status. He frequently over rushes and misses the point of attack. To be fair, he's got great quickness and heart, but he's not an NFL DE as it stands today.

This will be another Jaketigger sig quote that rivals his prediction of LSU starting 1-3 last season.

Correct. He'll be a rush OLB

Is this still the case?
I would wager that one of them probably drops to late 1st round
If they were both THAT good then it's hard to believe they wouldn't have been a more productive combo

Your exact quote was that we would be calling for Miles head after LSU starts 1-3.

I lived in Missouri for 2 years. If I said something like that it was in response to another poster comment with a string of email hypotheticals and YOU READ it out of context. BUT show me that.

Bray will not be a first round pick, there's also a premium on pass rushers in the NFL. Minter, a middle LB, won't be taken ahead of 2 of the best pass rushers in the draft.
