And how did our other QB do in that situation?

Had two shitty INT's. Wasn't worse than what JJ did in the NCG.

Why would you think otherwise?

Other than the battery charges that were brought against him before the season started?

He's a crybaby
He's entitled
He takes no responsibility for his actions
He repeatedly selfpromotes himself with nothing to back it up

If you dont see the double standard then its useless to continue.

What double standard?

You said that Jefferson looked like a deer in headlights against Alabama. I asked how other QB performed in the same situation.

Why won't you answer?

Neither looked good against Bama1, no one is denying that. JL had 2 bad picks, but was never given a chance to give it another go from then on out.

No big deal. He got in a fight, most people have at one point of their lives.

Worse? Maybe not.

Equal to? Absolutely.

Again, this isn't bashing Lee. I'm just pointing out something that LSU fans don't want to admit. Alabama's defense beat us up in trenches and was able to pressure our QBs with four and five (meaning that six and seven were back in coverage.) There may be some college QBs that can perform under those conditions but that list is very, very short.

A good analogy that LSU fans should be familiar with is the 2003 National Championship game. Jason White was the Heisman winner and was throwing for 300+ yards a game. But when LSU was in his earhole two seconds after every snap, he looked like Jaleel White instead.

Not to mention those charges are going to be dropped eventually.

Correct.

Lee or JJ fans can't have a discussion without bringing the other guy down.. The best QB, the one who had the tools to help LSU win was on the sideline IMO, and it wasn't either of these two.

So no one can be a decent person if they have been in a fight? Gotcha

Do you know him personally or are you just talking out of your arse?

He was the starting qb for one of the best programs in CFB...His coaches are the ones who kept sending him out there to lead our team. Why should an 18-20 yr old kid have to say he sucked to the press? Do you think possibly that when they are taught how to do interviews they may be instructed to not put themselves or teamates down?

I'm not trying to bring him down. I'm using to illustrate my point - Alabama's defense had much more to do with our BCSNC performance than many LSU fans admit.

Ok. The charges were dropped, everyone has been in a fight.

Defend the rest of his actions/attitude.

I am not here to defend the guy. Some of his "actions" were questionable but the guy was also put in some bad situations.

I have him there for 4 total years. He should have been fired after year 3 (as an outside observer) but I'm not privy to what was going on behind the scenes.

One thing I completely agree with. Lee and JJ didn't have good QB coaching for most of their time at LSU.

There is no doubt about that, and I haven't seen anyone saying that Bama's defense wasn't stellar. Bama's defense wasn't perfect though, and one or two big plays could have changed the complexity of the whole game.

What? I'm supposed to believe he's a gangbanger because he allegedly kicked some worthless cocksucker in the face?

He seems to be extremely well liked by almost everyone he's worked with, apparently got decent grades, and was never in any real trouble besides that trumped up bullshite at Shady's.

Those things are pretty well known. His tweets yesterday about the combine is the most recent feather in his cap.

Talking down about your self and selfpromoting are at opposite ends of the spectrum.

After NC game. " I think I handled the ball pretty well". - JJ

Not only is that selfpromoting its delusional.

They don't say anything about Alabama. Everyone blames Jefferson and Miles. They do deserve some blame to an extent, but at some point you have to be honest and give credit where credit is due.
