No way he gets drafted and neither does Lee
Free agent pickups at best
Possible practice squad because if Canfield can stick on the Saints practice squad anyone can.

TE? Too small, not athletic enough

I actually think if you spend a couple years grooming JJ, he could be a decent ATH or TE. If he does make a roster, it could be on special teams. I doubt any team would invest a couple years grooming him as a TE though.

So he's getting a chance for the same reason he got at LSU, lack of a better option.....oh wait.

This is why Glen Guilbeau is a hack. What journalist writes a complete article about someone having a bad combine score without even checking to see if it was pre-combine or post combine.

I missed the article...did this really happen? GG must have been excited as hell that that grade showed a low number...so excited he failed to check himself.

I hope he catches on somewhere and makes some money but that's just me, A non hateful educated LSU fan pulling for a former LSU tiger.

More power to him if he gets drafted.

He did nothing to deserve it.

Yes.

And a lot of other outlets picked it up and ran with it.

Journalism.

Apparently, he does better in practice and camp than he does games.

Well- if JJ does make it to the next level- what would that say about the offensive coaching at LSU?

It was bad from 2008-2011. I don't care what he or Lee do at the next level.

but the skill set he showed in Indianapolis will probably be enough to see him drafted in April -- possibly higher than some expect, due to a lack of promising mid-to-late-round quarterback prospects.

I hope JJ and J. Lee get a shot.

That if JJ and Lee hadn't been stuck with a shitty QB coach for 3 years than they may have been pretty damn good.

Nah, Crowton just had to flee to Canada to find someone that would let him "run his system."

Who's fault was that?

Both deserved better and I hope both get some shot at the next level, but I imagine their shitty instruction at LSU has ruined them for any real shot to play QB, anywhere.

Idiots that hate will always argue the other side of the coin. If he sucks and doesn't make it it's "See? Miles was a moron for sticking with him!"

If he makes it it's...
"See? Miles can't develop players, imagine what could have been if he had good coaching at LSU!"

fricking morons.

Only an idiot could possibly miss the obvious. JJ and Lee were screwed at LSU.
