Oh, gotcha.

Thanks. I was confused. I thought I read the 44 grade was combine. When do the combine grades get released?

Would still like his scout salary... staying in a game he obviously loves and getting paid to stay in shape...

and he's always one play away from his number being called.

This seems to be your only motivation in life. Pretty sad. Using JJ as some pawn to sit behind the keyboard and validate your antisocial hatred for other people.

Hope he can draw a paycheck at the next level, and it has absolutely nothing to do with validating any feelings I have about anyone. Maturity tends to take those childish impulses away.

I don't think there has ever been a year where combine participants were graded out. The 44 was his draft grade from nfl.com. I don't think you'll ever see a comparison of participants and grades from the combine other than the numbers the put up in the individual drills.

That's what the 5th through 7th rounds are for. Taking chances on players with upside.

I swear, I honestly think a large number of rantards don't actually watch football.

I doubt he gets a look as a 5th. Maybe 6th or F.A. I do think he can make a practice squad like RP.

When it comes to the later rounds, teams usually take the players who had great combine numbers. When it comes to the 4th round and later, they go for the workout freaks. It is possible someone will pick him in the 5th.

The way the ball came out of his hand while he was throwing to receivers on Sunday also reminded scouts of arm strength that can stretch defenses in a vertical attack

I seem to remember hearing the same stuff with him coming out of the Manning Passing Academy last summer. He was supposed to have improved his release, arm strength, footwork, etc & impressed everyone there. I would suspect a lot of people look really good when there is no defense providing pressure & coverage,JJ is a PRIME example of that.

Jefferson has an absolutely tiny chance of ever contributing in any way other than a practice squad. It's a waste to use a pick on that when there are guys who are taken that are actual contributors in late rounds every year.

He may benefit from a poor year for QB's.

With all the abuse JJ has endured I think it would be great if he was drafted....it would be a huge f-ck you to all the haters.
