Shut up. lol.

1. it takes kentucky a while to start gelling with much better recruiting classes than ours

the trendiest thing to do the past two seasons is critique the coaching. that is silly. if a player looks well-coached or not is certainly not a product of the coach who has only spent a couple of months with the guy; or even the last year

coaches that get a lot of one and done's have to press and keep it simple

I'd imagine the frustration is similar to the football situation. New year, new players, same senseless mistakes

Well defend all you want, but during thier "gelling process", UK is beating Duke. LSU is losing to two teams that are going to finish, at best, in the middle of their respective conferences. LSU is not UK, nor does anyone expect them to be. But right now they are nothing more than a really talented YMCA team. Thier half-court offense is non-existant. It literally consist of one guy in the middle and four on the perimeter withing for someone else to do something. There is ZERO movement away from the ball.

People will defend him to the end, but Jones is an awful coach who has never won anything of significance in his entire career as a HC. Except for two, every other coach in the SEC has won at least a regular season conf. title and/or at least one NCAA Tournament game in their career. Jones has done neither in 15 years as a college head coach. The two not on that list have won D-II national title (Mizzou's coach) and taken a team to the NBA finals (Bama's coach)

This team will have better nights this season. But to think they will be special under Jones is completely naive

Maybe we should just use plain white t-shirts for practice. It seemed to work for Marquette.

Jones is a joke and so were the refs

The refs I think we're a big issue especially this last game. I find it truly amazing that a team can not even get to the bonus through a half and OT. 25 minutes and 4 fouls is a joke and I don't care how passive LSU was on offense

Kentucky will go in dry and gel all up in this team to the tune of a 20+ point win. The start of the season has been a disaster.

What about the bullshite traveling call on sampson in the first half. I rewind ed and watched his pivot foot stay still, the ref legit made up the travel. Bridgewater didn't move on that screen and simmons sure as hell didn't foul at the end there.

Ahh, tiger basketball. They try and suck me in and I fall for it every year. Not this year.

Then you don't really care to know why we can't get to the foul line.

I will reserve my judgment until we get Hornsby back in starting and Victor getting as man y minutes as he can successfully contribute.

Starting our SEC schedule against the two best SEC teams (Jan 2 @ Vandy and Jan 5 UK in PMAC) will not help our record for sure. We might not get to 50-50 in SEC play until we are 3-3. But I still think we will get 10-11 SEC wins and make the NCAA Ty. Beating Wake Forest on Dec 29 would help. Beating Oklahoma in late January would help too.

respectfully, your post is ridiculous. there is nothing, nothing on jones' resume that should make anyone believe he is going to consistently win 2 tourney games; sometimes more, sometimes less. couple that with the way the team looks so far and the lack of faith in jones is imminently justified. there is no reason to think this team will win 2 tourney games. it's more likely this team won't even make the tourney.

so, if jones ends this season 0-fer, what will your perspective be? the same as what mine was when he was a candidate. why are we even considering this person? 11 unimpressive seasons at a moribund program.

Jones is garbage and any intelligent bbball fan would have already realized that over the last couple of years. Our only hope this year is that Simmons just takes over games and we make the tourney. Next year and beyond will be really ugly.

this is the problem people aren't seeing when they say "lsu will get better." that's not how the postseason works. the committee looks at ooc record. they see losses to marquette and nc state. if lsu is going to make the tourney, they need signature occ wins to cover up those losses. where is lsu going to get those wins? if lsu had beaten marquette, they likely could have split nc state and wake forest and be alright combined with an impressive conference record. now, wf and okla are must wins unless lsu rips through the conference games and sec tourney.

these 2 losses hurt way worse than some people are admitting.

Look, I'm as disappointed with the results of the last 2 games as anyone, but to say the committee is going to look at Nov 23 and Nov 24 games as some bullet point is ridiculous.

It depends on what LSU does from here on out. No team has ever not make the NCAAT because they smoked Jan-Mar but lost 2 games in November.

This same thought related to football has Bama out after losing to Ole Miss. It's fricking ridiculous.

It's November 24th and basketball aspirations are over. Time to pack up shop.
