Lets be perfectly clear....this team will not win the National Championship. Lets hope they get to the big dance and represent LSU well. They are good, but not great. I am a big fan and hope they really do well...but I am also a realist as well. we could have john wooden on the bench and we wouldnt make the final four...it is what it is.

Lol....a good coach could do a lot with this team...point guard play...3 point ability, Simmons and victor down low....sorry...

LSU has sketchy PG play at best and no depth down low.
Lots of college teams shoot 3s well.

I can tell you what, I watched plenty of dale brown coached teams make deep runs with less.

Tournament play is all about match ups. All you need is to get in and have good match ups.

You need good guard play and you gotta get in first. LSU loses Saturday they are done...they better play like that.

Time will only tell. Id love a national championship but id be perfectly happy with a sweet 16 appearance. Making the big dance is this teams main goal at the moment

I didn't expect a Final Four this year but I sure as heck expected to make the NCAA tournament and without breaking a sweat. I think that was a reasonable expectation to begin the season and I still think now it was a reasonable expectation.
And it's still a viable possibility. But this wild inconsistency, both with individual players and collectively as a team makes it impossible to predict. We'll just have to wait and see where this often frustrating journey ends.

Much basketball left. Wasnt like we lost to McNeese or something, mid season. They have to learn something from that game but no reason to bow them completely out of the tournament. We are in the upper echelon of the SEC. Minimum of 4 teams make the tournament, but CBS and the AP wont pass on Ben Simmons come selection sunday. So.... Chill the F out.
