can tell you what, I watched plenty of dale brown coached teams make deep runs with less.

Do you mean deep runs in the tournament? I can recall only one the 1987 team. One could make an argument for the '86 team but they had Blanton, Wilson, Redden, John Williams and Derek Taylor. I'd argue that's more talent than this team but you can argue that I guess.

All other teams that LSU made serious tourney runs with...and there were really only 2 other teams aside from the two above that made what I would consider deep runs...'80 and '81, were very talented. More so than this team.

not negative...love this team....they are just not mature enough, or deep enough to win it all

There's a couple hundred teams, what would be impressive is if you can pick the team that is going to win it all. And still then you would be picking between around 8 teams. You're not bringing anything new to the table. So whats the point?

So I shouldn't be looking at hotels in Houston April 2-4th?

If you're an A&M fan, yes.

Blanton was a freshman, and a 6'8 post player. Wilson, Redden and Taylor aren't more talented than what LSU is putting on the floor this year. Now John Williams was a stud.

This team has a lot of potential, especially if they get hot at the right time. Get in and anything can happen. Especially in this NCAA Tourney field, where there really aren't many (if any) standout teams

I've watched pretty much all of their games this year and this team is really not good at all. They have Zero offensive and their defense sucks too

I'd trade Simmons for Martin and Mickey again in a heartbeat, cause we had a legit offense running with those 2...This year it's soft Simmons driving to the hoop praying to get fouled

This team will finish at or right below 500....

Would we accept an NIT bid if it came to that?

Last time I checked, we're LSU not Duke. Of course we'd accept an NIT bid.
