USM is better, so on paper I would rather play State. But, losing to State would suck more.

Southern Miss. State has shown they can take down great teams in a best of 3 format. Sure we swept them but State's issue is a format that requires them to win 3 games

I would like state...we have a serious psychological edge over them right now. I don't think they will take two tomorrow, though.

USM has a very good team and not just for CUSA or whatever conference they are in. They can hit and there's a couple good pitchers on that team.

The intimidation factor is vastly overrated, especially to a team with talent.

It could be overrated but USM still hasn't played in an evironment like the Box. Moo State has. I would still say it makes a difference.
