Has anyone heard, or read, any members of the media asking Les point blank why we run the ball on almost every first and second down? I would think they had but have not seen it.

Les does not read the rant. No matter how many times it is pointed out here he will not see it. Why aren't some of the Tiger fans in media that actually have access to him asking him?

Maybe he should watch the recorded broadcast instead of game film so he can hear the announcers calling his plays in advance.

Amen !

It is the coaches job to adjust to the ability of his personnel, then you have the stubborn, egotistical ones that will keep on trying only so they can point the finger.

Wouldn't you say that when we line up in the I formation and twin tight ends and the other team loads up close to the line, like on the goal line, that it makes the job of the offensive lineman harder?

There are only two players they have to defend out of that formation...toss dive and play action bomb to dural....how much easier could they make it.

Its impossible to do this. But Miles thinks he can do it.

Everyone knows that. That's where the change has to come from, and not the Obama kind of change...

I'm beginning to thing he really doesn't understand the concept of changing the scheme to account for the fact that the other team will also have a severe want to execute, thusly at times preventing LSU from executing, no matter how significant LSUs want for execution. For example, if the other team has a DL that can execute most of the time, but DBs that don't execute, perhaps change the scheme to increase the chance of LSU successfully executing, and prevent the opponenent from executing their scheme.

They should play the song "Dinosaur" by Hank Jr. when Miles runs on to the field

seems to me that the offense in 2007 was a bit different than what LSU is running. I know it was Crowton but after 2008 LES went back in time and lost the marbles that gave him the nickname "Lesticles"

Yep. I've always said that season ruined Miles hen it comes to young QBs. He will never let another sophomore or freshman QB play without a VERY short leash.

The Oline is a mess. So in that regards we have to change it up or else we will continue to struggle.

Miles is right.

It's the formula that you can consistently win with in the SECw. We just need a QB that can execute the play action medium range to the WRs and tight end...and also have the ability to check down to the RB when those options are not available. Jennings has difficulty doing that.

Can you imagine the pressure on our defense if we ran the spread?

It does not matter if he is right or not.

Since when has a Les Miles-coached team ever executed anything flawlessly? More often than not, it's a stumbling, bumbling comedy of errors.

Well this is complete bs. Some of you guys that get so mad about this stuff maybe should just stay home and not watch the game.

can you imagine us not running the spread and giving up 34 points to miss state?

because that is what just happened

No doubt.

With that said, I don't have a problem with the scheme, I have a problem with the play calling, as many do, within that scheme.

Would we have been more successful against MSU in the spread, probably not. Because we don't have a QB fast enough or strong enough to run it effectively.

So it's either three and out in the spread or three and out in the pro style. It really doesn't matter. Maybe we just need better personnel than the other team.

1)-Scheme 2)- The right players recruited for that scheme 3)-Coaching then up and developing them to execute.--Which one of these is Miles responsible for?
