Harris got a good portion with the first team last fall. Nothing to see here

I am amazed at the comments in this thread. How can any person with half a brain, after listening to Les Miles for 11 years now, think that anything that comes out of his mouth about playing time is accurate?

The guy straight out lies to the media about his player rotations, and some of you goons still hang on every word.

Somebody notify me when the games start because then, and only then, will we know how Les will rotate the players.

If you listen closely it's not that difficult, but people hear what they want to hear

hmmmmmmm.....what does this mean?????

well if you've listened to CLM over the past decade as I have, it means that Jennings never took the first snap with the 1's.

So you took that game as a sign Harris was ready last year?

harris wasn't ready. he admitted so himself. last year was last year. I saw one QB commit three turnovers in 4 drives against new mexico state, piling up a -20 QBR and getting pulled. was he ready?

over nothing?

How many games of bad QB play did we suffer through last year? Or in 2009-2010?

I don't consider that "nothing".

A "good portion" could be 30-40%.

Dear baby Jesus, please let it be football season tomorrow so that these mind-killing, repetitive, assumptive arguments about a season we know NOTHING about can finally stop.

If this is remotely true, Whoever made this decision is an idiot. Time to end this split reps crap. Pick a kid and stick with him. It should be Harris.

My point with Harris is if he can beat out Jennings it will have to come on his own time, film study, and eventually learning playbook as good as kragthorpe. And If Harris can check down in practice then starting mcneese game is a no brainer. And if all above true then Jennings should be worried about the third string guy closing in on him instead of being a close tight race for 1-2.

It means that as usual the #2 QB got 35-40% of the snaps. That is the way it is nearly all the time.

They're not splitting reps. It's not 50/50. It's 25/75. Harris is your QB. Y'all seriously need to chill the frick out.

Are we really bitching about the 2nd string qb getting reps in practice. You know, anything can happen and we need both quarterbacks ready
