Miles says Jennings took a good portion of number 1 reps today

Practice was closed to the media for the first time Monday, but as was observed over the previous four days, Miles said Harris again took the first snaps with the No. 1 offense.
He was quick to point out that Jennings “took a good portion” of snaps with the No. 1 offense as well.

If I've learned anything in Miles' time here, it's that he never is straight forward with players performance in practice. It's not a criticism, just a fact. Best to sit back and wait for mcneese to learn who takes most of the number one reps

Not surprised at all. This comp will go into the first game at least. Hopefully Harris runs up 40 in the first half so Jennings has no choice but to play.

And yet, he doesn't really fool anyone. I mean, be honest. If you think back about what you thought he would do, how often have you been right, and how often have you been wrong?

Doesn't mean anything, Les just doesn't want to make it seem like he's favoring one guy right now since he hasn't named a starter. Since practice is now closed to the media, we don't know how many first team snaps Harris or Jennings are getting. We'll just have to wait until McNeese to know for sure.

The only thing that matters is who Miles names the starter. Trying to read too much into every sentence out of his mouth until he actually names a starter is a waste of time

No, naming the starter isn't the only thing that matters. If it is "that close" in Miles' mind you know what will happen after a couple of ints. Have seen that show before.
