Anyone that thinks Miles was referring to Cam Cameron is an idiot.

Miles is so hard to tell with.
I really want to believe that he is the guy now. Nothing personal against the competition, just really believe more in his upside.

Agreed. He is taking all responsibility here.

ennings' performance the week before was about as bad as a QB can play. Just awful - and against New Mother fricking Mexico State! Miles had no choice but to play Harris after he came into that game and lit it up, and made it close the week before.

To me that tells me that before MSU/NMSU, Miles truly believed that Jennings was his guy, and he never contemplated the possibility that Harris would be needed for the long term.

I really like Miles, but he gets tunnel vision when it comes to QBs. If it doesn't come naturally, he doesn't adjust like he should. And then he compounded the problem by yanking Harris when he should have bit the bullet and rode him the rest of the year.

vs a really good Auburn team that had a very good offense.

Ahem, no matter who was QB'ing and how many starts he had, it did not look good that the best we could do was 7 pts on that defense.

Yeah no shite...

But that Auburn D also shut down our running game as well. 3.8ypc that game. Had no offense that game, only had 13 first downs all game. So we kept giving it back to that high powered offense and we couldn't stop them either. It was 31-7 before Half.

1 of the ugliest games I can remember for us...

I think reading too much this is a little premature, but if you look at the totality of what has been coming from Les, Cam and the players, it seems like (since the Arky game) the wind has shifted in BH's favor.

Personally, I think that it all has worked out for the best...AJ had plenty of opportunity to show what he could or could not do...He didn't show much improvement...now, Harris probably learned a very important lesson...to get his head in the play book and learn it or else...a year of maturity and body building will serve him well...our running game should be stronger this year and take pressure off Harris to carry too much of the load...I believe that if he shows even more improvement in the spring, he gets his chance...Go Tigers!

There was zero point to putting him in the Auburn game when they distrusted his passing and never intended to allow him to do it. As I saw it, Brandon took a giant blow to his confidence in that first half, administered by his own coaches. They set him up to fail.

Certainly one of Les's worst coaching performances.

As long as the coaches prepare him for this Aubie game, I don't care. Must win game early in the season.

He never was given a real chance to get into a rythem. His second or third pass was a rollout 45 yards down field

you are actually "worse" than that guy for admitting that you were thinking that. It's so far from the truth, I can't imagine what kind of dumbass you must be in real life.

They were up 17-0 by the time he attempted his 2nd pass. Mostly because he scrambled and fumbled or scrambled and lost yards.

You have to understand something with Bo Bounds. Guy is a bigtime douche. He constantly, and I mean constantly is dogging LSU for this upcoming season. He has already eliminated LSU from contention from the SEC race.....Bo isn't smart enough to realize these few things:

1.) LSU is the 10th pick overall in Vegas right now (was just there last weekend) to win the National Championship. Significantly ahead of Ole Miss and State, who he both calls strong contenders to win the West.

2.) Bo doesn't realize that LSU went 8-4 last year, and will be much more experienced and deeper this coming year. They went 8-4 with Horrid QB play. LSU will be better in every single area this coming year.

3.) Bo doesn't realize that a highly talented true freshman, who clearly wasn't ready last year, could improve significantly this coming year.

4.) Bo certainly doesn't realize that LSU under Miles has historically been in contention for the West every year well into November, winning it 3 times. Even last year, as bad as the QB play was, a win over Bama (which obviously should have been) and LSU was still in contention for the West going into the 11th game of the year.

I don't get Bounds. I know he has to pump up the Mississippi schools.....(says they both had elite seasons with 3 and 4 losses respectively), but he is almost daily bashing LSU, having guests on his show and leading them into downplaying LSU (he will ask do they think LSU has a chance, and he'll quickly say "I DON'T"......Again, LSU is the 10th pick overall to win the NC, and that's without a proven QB. Just imagine what they would be if BH steps up.
