Apparently OM didn't learn their lesson with hiring washed up SECW coaches

fricking this. I swear, we have some stupid arse fans.

LSU might come out ahead in the end. But you dumbasses who just rail on an Anti-Miles agenda, hoping he takes the gig just to see him fail. What if he's successful there? What if it just happens to fall right for him with his staff and recruiting and a long term contract... He knows every high school coach in Louisiana and tons of them in Mississippi and Alabama.

Do you honestly think Miles being in the SEC West is good for us in any way?

Does Les Miles have a Mississippi accent?

If Miles rolls out the same tired offense he did every year sans 2013 or with Jimbo coached QB, then yes, I do not think it is a bad thing. The good Miles teams lost to teams that could beat him up front, not something Ole Miss is known for.

If true this is surprising and out of character for Miles. He always struck me as the type that he wanted to be THE guy at LSU like Schembechler was at Michigan. The kind of coach that once you left a place you could never coach against your former team. Okie State wasn't that kindof place for Miles but I think LSU was.

No way he coaches Ole Miss - this could be contract related inquiries to comply with his buy out which i would understand.

He might coach in the ACC or something or maybe an SEC East team but not an SECW team.

If Miles truly reinvents himself at another school, then frick him. Why couldn't he do that all the years this fanbase begged him to?

I hope he gets the job. I'd love to see LSU versus its 2 winningest HCs at its 2 biggest rival teams Bama and Miss.

Orgeron to LSU and Miles to Ole Miss. You just can't make this stuff up.

Pretty sure it has. I haven't seen one credible news source report on it. I guess people still want to debate the possibility.

Football season can not get here soon enough.

He's not meeting with them. He's obligated by his contract to look for jobs. He will never be at Ole Miss. A lot of slapdicks on this site.

CM .s offense is fairly easy to recruit for big strong run blockers big tightends who can catch , he won't have LSU recievers so he needs them and will use them and he will get a better defensive coach than any body else could get at that position with their problems . Other coaches are looking for that modern offensive type personnel that every body else is recruiting for !Slightly smaller and fairly fast ) ! I would still rather him go to Kansas they will have an opening !

What are the ramifications for the violations that Miles will inherit?

Didn't Miles have some rented office space in BR to do research and put together a team for him to coach with again? Who is on the team? I know I read about this.
