Still, 27 seconds from the end of that play till the snap of the next...and Les waits until they're lined up at the line to start riverdancing over on the sideline for the fg unit

Tangerine you sort of need to eat shite as well because a spiking motion and a down motion is basically the same thing

He can be called out a lot tonight, but not for the spike. That was my only point

No onew is doubting poor clock management. The point is he was not calling for a spike, but to the refs saying the LSU player was down.

Right...so basically WBRZ got it wrong which is understandable and Miles still blew the game any way you slice it

what the hell do you mean he didn't call for the spike?
JJ obviously didn't, who the hell else is there, be a coach man up and say you are over your head being in charge of a NCAA football team

Saying he doesn't know who called for it shows a total lack of control of his surroundings

I agree. Since the other thread falsely calling Les out is stickied

I asked that the other thread be anchored, but no luck. WBRZ could be in a shitload of trouble for that one

Since he didnt call for the spike what did he call for?

You can see it on the players faces at the end of the video. Players for both teams were looking UP at the clock. Possession obviously wasn't an issue and you can tell by the manner in which they walked, looking at the score board, the clock was stopped.
1. Clock stopped.
2. LSU has possession.
So Les Miles then takes this time to repeatedly convince the refs that we have possession and to stop the clock?

read the thread...there's a good argument being made that miles was signaling to the ref that the catch was made and the receiver was down before the ole miss defender came up with the ball.

Miles does not react at all until the Ole Moss player shows the ball. He then goes batshit crazy yelling that TT was down, and there was no int.

He called for a spike right when the catch was made thinking (just as I thought) we should have had more time on the clock around 2-3 seconds (I thought that should have been reviewed) when he looked up at the clock he realized he didnt and started signaling for fg and there was no fg team ready
i think this as well but he gets paid $4M/yr...he's supposed to be prepared for the possibility of a FG in that situation

No signal by the official had been made. 1:45 of the vid shows the call being made after the Ole Miss player stands up with the ball, and after Miles was already yelling

I'm back in the hotel now, you can interpret my video however you like. I was at the game, about 50 yards from the coaches. I don't know where you saw the game from.
But feel free to name call all you like, if it helps you sleep at night.
