He doesn’t have Neal’s power but he was a better hitter in conference than Neal was
Neal was an injured freshman catching every game before he was finally shut down for the season. To mention the two in the same sentence offensively is laughable.

No one wants to downplay Milazzo, it just seems that way to the people who think he is something that he isn’t.

Just came to TD to see if anyone was talking about the game. Can someone explain why this thread even got started? Milazzo wasn’t when in the lineup.

I’m just glad Lester isn’t in this thread trying to tell everyone that Jones is a good defensive first baseman

I'll never say a word about Milazzo again after last year. All the crap I gave that man and he did what needed doing when it mattered.

Can’t imagine watching last years CWS and talking Shite like this about him. Frick this guy

No knowledgeable person is going to say to sit Neal for Milazzo. The catcher position has played out so far just as most thought it would. Neal is the #1 guy but not able to catch everyday due to health reasons. Travinski will be the everyday DH with some spot starts at catcher. Milazzo will be a defensive replacement and get some spot starts to give Neal a break. Anyone who was paying attention saw this coming. This whole thread is pointless and unnecessary. I guess the OP was trying to praise Neal but decided to make a thread on Milazzo instead?

I don’t think anyone is here saying that Milazzo should start over Brady Neal other than to rest him. If so, they are just as ignorant as the people saying Milazzo isn’t a valuable part of this team.

So, this thread is just stupid

Safe to say LSU's National COY knows a hell of a lot more about his players than anyone on this board. Apparently there is such a thing as someone having a negative baseball IQ.

Some people just shouldn't drink and post. Or maybe they just shouldn't post at all.

Did you know Nolan Ryan threw a 108 mph fastball on his very last pitch at 46yo?

No but I know it was 98 measured by radar gun in 1993. Unless it was picked up out of his hand it was probably faster. Of course, we still rode to work in horse drawn carriage in 1993 so it’s probably wrong.

than a defensive replacement at this point.

This is my least favorite LSU Tiger rant post in the month of February

Nobody is downplaying anything. And if I’m this first round talent playing a position that’s tough on the body I’m perfectly fine taking some games off.

The Rant is something else. Guy improved as much as any could have hoped last year and did everything he could to get LSU to Omaha and win the championship. Hitting this year at a good clip and still doing his thing at catcher and you get this type of thread.

Rant - never change.
