That isn't any less unglorious or undigestable than 0-4 would be. Yet either is a real possibility

I am not saying Arky and A&M are better than UK or UF. However, we won both those games in spite of Jennings. The Arky defense is not bad and is certainly better than UK and UF. At this point of our season, I think a win at Arky or A&M will be an upset. The ineptitude of Jennings and Miles will keep the defense on the field and there is no way we will slow down Arky's running game if that happens. I hope we win all 4, but what have we done to make us think we will win more than 1 of the last 4 games?

You make some good points.

MastrShake, I am sure you are a retired coach with a degree in statistics. Look at who Arkansas has played vs. Kentucky and Florida. I guess in your narrow minded world, level of competition means nothing. Arkansas has played 4 teams in top 10 and should have beaten A&M and Bama. UF was destroyed by Bama and was demolished by Mizzou. UK has beaten mighty Ohio and UT Martin and lost to UF.

Look, I am an LSU grad and want to see us win the last 4 as much as anyone, but take off the P&G glasses. Why does everyone chalk up a victory against Arky and A&M?

That may well be the case.

Oh please? because some football hack predicts one game, he knows his football? You would be prey for any of the "psychic hotlines?" And the rest of those same bullshitters? Give me a frickin break? Detillier mouths the same shite the other hacks mouth off. So he predicts that LSU will lose the last 4 games? And LSU will be underdogs in those same 4 games, so frickin what?

I tend to agree with him. We could pull an upset and win one, but I wouldn't bet on it.

You should be happy if they win at least one.

Crappy QB play will do us in against quality competition.

That's true for any team. Of course, you are implying that LSU QBs are crappy. If that's the case, you are in bitch-mode.

Oh Mike Detillier said, huh?
Pimp Jr. told me that Pluto wasn't a planet for five freaking years and I didn't believe that either.

Mike Deltillier thought the Saints Rickey Williams deal was great. That forever should call into question his credibility as far as "knowing his football."

Dude's a goof.

Then why does he have Saban and Belichik on his speed dial and call them regularly at 4:47 am, like he says (repeatedly) on his radio apperances. Anybody who drops names and times like that is THE MAN. I mean 4:47 am bruh, pre-little-Debbie, that's big time.

Aight, time to drop some statistics on y'all. Let's say that you guys are right, that Arkansas and A&M are secretly great, and that LSU is strong underdogs in every game going forward, 10 point dogs. That roughly translates into a 3/4 chance of losing any given game. The chances of dropping four straight games with those odds is ~31%. So even if you assume that LSU is double digit dogs in every game going forward, it's still extremely unlikely that they would lose all four.

To get to the point where, according to the odds, it actually likely that LSU will drop four in a row, you'd have to assume that they will be two touchdown underdogs in every single game going forward. Of course we know that's a comically unrealistic assumption, because the Tigers are all of 3 point underdogs to the #3 team in the nation next week.

Yet the negatigers in this thread will insist that they are the ones who are being totally objective and rational. Scientific even.

After watching A&M quit on Saturday against a physical, run-first team, he still thinks LSU loses their remaining four games? That bad hair piece must be messing with his brain.

I can't see LSU losing to Aggie. Ground and pound.
I think we beat either Gump or Ole Miss. Probably Bama. I think we have a present for them.
Arkansas makes me nervous, because they always make me nervous and they are due.
With some luck and funny bounces we win 3/4.
But probably 2 and 2.
