I am not saying Arky and A&M are better than UK or UF. However, we won both those games in spite of Jennings. The Arky defense is not bad and is certainly better than UK and UF. At this point of our season, I think a win at Arky or A&M will be an upset. The ineptitude of Jennings and Miles will keep the defense on the field and there is no way we will slow down Arky's running game if that happens. I hope we win all 4, but what have we done to make us think we will win more than 1 of the last 4 games?

Can't see us beating Bama or OM. A&M is still dangerous enough to beat us but LSU really should win that one. Arky is the game that is a tossup. I still don't trust our run defense against a power team and Ark usually plays us tough regardless.

I have us at 7-5. Beat aTm. Get curb stomped by Ole Miss and Bama (since you cannot beat them without a credible threat at QB and Jennings is the worst QB in the conference). The season comes down to whether our run defense has improved enough to squeak out a win at Arky.

We have a shot at 10-2 with Harris but Les is too stubborn. So we get the glorious Music City Bowl. And we are not as well positioned for 2015 (which would be a title run with a legit passing game).

I think Arky is better than people are giving credit for. Giving up 35 in a loss to A&M is bad, but Ark was also good enough to hang with Bama and beat Texas Tech. Losses to UGA and AU are nothing to be ashamed about.

What is not objective? A bad QB and inept coach will kill the offense and force the defense to stay on the field all night. Like them or hate them, Arkansas has a tremendous running game and will run all over our defense if that happens.

Harris ain't ready quite yet. He'll get there but he's got a ways to go.

Biglego, I completely agree with you, but that probably isn't objective enough for ForeLSU.

The defense has taken steps forward recently. I'm impressed with Beckwith in the middle. The DL rotation seems to work. The DBs are still sick. Adams is all over the place. One dimensional teams won't be as successful.

It's possible, but last night gave me some hope for 2-2. I think worst case scenario is 1-3. Crazy that we're gonna play four top 10 teams.

We'd be cruising to a NC if Harris started, no doubt.

Arkansas scares me the most right now. They have been sucking on this SEC losing streak for 2 fricking years. I'd been hoping they could get by some frickin body before we played them, and now only MSU and the open date separate us.

It's possible. Funny thing is, for as bad a defense as we feel we have, it's a top 15 defense. Top 10 scoring defense. We aren't all that different from Georgia, and they stomped arkansas. And we are still improving.

Arkansas won't be able to stop us. As bad as our passing game has been, Georgia's is worse.

He thinks LSU loses the last 4 and finishes 6-6.

Wouldn't shock me.

We are massive underdogs against Ole Miss and Bama. Arky is away and does nothing but run up the middle and we've proven we can't stop that. aTm is on Thanksgiving and we've all seen how LSU plays on the Friday after Thanksgiving. Imagine how they will play on Thanksgiving.

Reality is, I think we have the talent to win all four, but it wouldn't shock me if we got housed by all 4.

They can't stop it either. In fact they are worse.

Is rather look at how we've done against aTm.

So, Jennings is out there purposely playing below your expectations and to hurt the team? Got it. How many drops have the young receivers had this season? Why no hate for them? Besides, the only reason the UF game was so close was due to two special teams snafus. Totally Jennings' fault, though.

Not even remotely true, by 32 spots compared to UF and 15 spots to UK. Added: In fact, We have played five teams with better numbers on defense than Arkansas so far.

When looking at LSU at this point compared to both Arkansas and A&M at this same point, are you serious?

The ineptitude of Jennings and Miles

Oh ok, it all makes sense now.

quote:

keep the defense on the field and there is no way we will slow down Arky's running game if that happens

Arkansas' offense could pose a problem, I'll give you that. Though, LSU looks to have made some strides in that department the last two weeks. Plus, games on the road are always difficult look at how boogeyman Alabama plays on the road.

quote:

I hope we win all 4

Do you really?

quote:

but what have we done to make us think we will win more than 1 of the last 4 games?

Besides appearing to have made improvements/hit strides on both lines? Playing better on defense as a whole? Going into a stadium that LSU has only won in a handful of times in the last 28 years? (Fifth win in Gainsville since 1986.) Other than that, I guess nothing.

What have Arkansas or A&M done recently to make you think LSU beating them will be an "upset" when all three teams are viewed at this point in the season?
